Rudest owner Ive ever spoke with. He actually called me a name then hung up on me. I wouldnt give this place my business if it was last place on earth. I had just spoke with the sales person at the Lotus Tobacco Gallery and they referred me to this shop. The person representing the lotus was kind and informative. I have know idea how the man eho owns the Bayou Tobacco Inc. Stays in business. I will not tolerate being treated like Im stupid.

Love this pipe shop!!! Have bought pipes and cigars plus many of their house blends of pipe tobacco.Anytime we are in Baton Rouge to visit our son, I ALWAYS make it a point to go by. Mike and Sarah are great folks and very helpful and can answer any of your pipe or cigar questions. Their blends, Bayou Sarah,Jackson, and Tiger Bud are must tries for the serious pipe smoker.

Its a place that is so Baton Rouge. It is nostalgic and frendly. Sarah and Mike have a good variety and better than just competitive priceing. Best of all, one is made welcome. Even if you are from out of town you be received warmly and invited to sit a while and have a smoke. I give it a 5 star rating. David Terrell (Not the drunk one)

My husband loves this cigar shop. He was just getting into cigars when a friend brought him to Bayou Tobacco. Mike and Sarah are very helpful. They have helped me choose cigars for gifts for my husband because they know what he likes. Great, friendly service.
