We enjoy going to the levee a few times a year. Went yesterday and it was quite busy, being a beautiful day and a festival going on. The parking ramp had a level that appeared to be shut down, as well as an exit lane, which made the the parking structure even more congested than normal. Also, there arent enough machines to pay for parking. Waited in line for 10 minutes only to have the machine go to Closed mode when it was my turn. Got into the other line, waited again, and watched everyone ahead of me struggle to make their payment. Turns out you had to insert you ticket backwards (arrows facing you) to get the machine to accept it. Same thing at the exit. Oye. After (another) horrible experience at Bar Louie, this was just icing on the cake.

This place could use some updates. Now that the weather is warm they do have more activities for kids...a ride around the levy in a little train for $3 each, a spin inside a big water ball for ~$8 each, and they have another bungee jump, but im not sure the cost on that. The restaurant options are fairly good, and the Kentucky artist gallery is a great place to buy locally made unique items, but other than that, shopping is not a reason to come here. I also wish the bookstore would open closer to the time the Aquarium opens - especially on Sundays when the aquarium opens at 9 and my son has flown through it by 10, then theres nothing for us to do because none of the other businesses open until 11.

Nice place to visit. However, there really is not enough here to keep people busy. Not enough business to keep prices within reason. The little mall is sparce... the restaurants are expensive. It has a few Leader Vendors... Newport Aquarium, Barnes & Noble, and Game Works. They also have a Cinema in the Mall, but nothing really to look at if you walk around. Parking is great! On the street or in the Garage under the Levy... It really is nice, but could be better. Good place to visit for a couple hours.

Kids had a good time. We did have to buy our tickets first then wait a couple hours before we could get in. And it was packed. Was hoping to see a hammer head or some weird stuff but thats just my thing I guess. Did have upside down catfish... Dont like the fact that its a money pit. The walk through ended at the gift shop forcing you to drag your kids through and be that bad parent who doesnt buy a small stuffed animal for $50, but I guess they are out to get every penny they can to sustain.

Im just going to say that I generally dont like crowds. When theres an event going on there, its always crowded, so I guess I must be in the minority. The last time we went there was for Goetta Fest. A 12oz beer was $7, and what looked like a 16oz beer was $12.50 because it came in a souvenir cup. Im glad we didnt go hungry because the average burger and drink was about $15, and not really a meal. Ill leave this to the younger generation. Its not for this 67 year old retiree.

Went to the aquarium..a 2 hour drive my home..brought 6 of my grandkids. No handicap entrance and a huge steep staircase to climb to reach the ticket sales..which were ridiculously high...then more stairs to get into the building. Good photo opportunities throughout the building. Loved touching real sharks..prices in gift shop were kinda high too. Kids did enjoy what they saw. But truly expected more than what was there. Food court is not too pricey.

Nice location, good crowd... something for all. The Riverwalk is nice, one can sit in Barnes and Nobles and read books, order coffee and can enjoy the river view. There is a nice aquarium over there. Some good places to have food or a quick bite. You can enjoy a movie in AMC or have dinner in a good pub-n-grill there. Lots of entertainment options for kids also. A very good place to spend a whole day.

I wouldnt recommend this restaurant to anyone. I ordered a BLT thats not what I got, if you what to consider that the BLT came with only 1 peice of bacon that whats broken in half and put on the sandwich with melted shredded cheese on the sandwich. The manager took the BLT off the bill; I would have gladly pay for the BLT sandwich if it was a real BLT you know bacon, lettuce and tomato.

Had always wanted to visit the Levee and made the 1 hr trip on a Saturday afternoon. Was really disappointed with this place. Other than the aquarium, theater and restaurants there isnt much to do. The mall portion of the Levee is pathetic, very few shops. With its location this place should have much more to do. Dont think Ill be returning anytime soon.

Like Yeatmans Cove on the Cincinnati side of the River, Newport on the leavee is a great place to enjoy the river front and the events held there, and still be walking distance to the rest of what Newport has to offer! Its also easy to go from one side of the river to the other on foot by traversing the many pedestrian bridges over the river. Its wonderful!

I came to this place because of Groupon. They were having a plant night where I could create a terrarium. I had never been to this shopping area before. I was not very happy that I had to pay for parking but it was not expensive. I enjoyed making my terrarium but Im not sure that Ill be back to this Shopping Center.

We went to Newport Aquarium and it was packed with a bunch of children from several different schools. If we would have known ahead of time, we would have went on another day. Nothing on their website indicated that it was going to be packed that day. Not enough shops/ things to do outside of the aquarium.

Free concert on Thursdays during the summer time, great location for a night out, Brothers bar is a great hang out place for the summer time and to watch sports. Coldstone has the best milkshake:) and the fish market has amazing drinks. Good running route across the bridge, close to reds stadium

The levee is a great idea that doesnt work so well in practice. Theres a lot of stuff there, but I find I usually only go to one or two things, the movie theater and the bookstore. Very occasionally Ill eat there. It does have a great view of the city and that is definitely worth seeing.
