My husband went into Sureway this afternoon to get some chicken that was on sale. When he brought it home I looked at the receipt and that instead of them charging a dollar a pound they had charged $1.59 a pound. When I called the store instead of the people in the office handling it they transferred me to the meat department. The guy I talked to said "Well it was only $.59" I thought to myself no it was right at $5.00 with all the chicken we bought. It made me mad so I sent my husband back to the store and told him to return the chicken and get our money back. We live out in the county and by the time it was all said and done the chicken had been out of the fridge for around 45 minutes. I wasnt going to take any chances with it being spoiled. Weve got spoiled chicken from them before. It is ridiculous that they want to act like it isnt anything. No telling how much money they have cheated people out of today.
