Amazing place to shop; I highly recommend it. Books, movies, comics, adult coloring books and more! This place meets all your book needs. Its wonderful to check back in periodically, because they always have new things in! You can also get a free frequent shopper rewards card, and if you spend a certain amount (I believe its either $10 or $20), you eventually get 50% off on your purchase! They have a very good deal for movies. You can get a large quantity (green stripe on the case, sold separately $1 each) for a certain price. Its a great way to expand your movie collection for a very reasonable price! Here are the deals: Small shelf 18 DVDs $8.50 Medium shelf 36 DVDs $15 Large shelf 72 DVDs $25 Its a lovely little place. Cozy, good vibes and feel good music, plus free coffee. If youre a book or movie lover, youve gotta come check this place out. ❤

I love this place. The employees are super friendly and the sales are pretty sweet. You never know what youll find and since theyre an outlet they receive books from other Half-price book stores they have no idea what theyll receive week to week. The books are mostly organised by physical type like hardback and mass produced paperback so theres not really a grouping by genre. They have separated out some of the paranormal romance books and the harlequin books though. They have a mix of CDs, DVDs, Books, Comics, and Manga. Definitely worth a look through, but make sure to make the time for a thorough look. You may miss something pretty cool if youre not paying attention.

The staff is the best staff I have ever dealt with, hands down. When I was living in BG I used to go there every couple of weeks to check for new books. All of the people there were really nice, and wanted to help me in every way they could, and werent bothered by my numerous questions in my first visits when I didnt know how the books were sorted and where to look for a particular book. I spent a lot of time discussing book with them and many of them recommended me beautiful books which were amazing. There is a girl and a guy there who I believe should make a course to teach other people how to deal with customers.

People love the thrill of discovery. Its what makes collecting many things so exciting; this is especially true when it comes to bibliophiles (lovers of books). We love to dig through the piles and slowly scan the aisles. When I go into Half Price Books, I feel the challenge rising within me. I want to find something neglected by most readers, or something that has a niche audience. I rarely leave with less than an armful. Yes, its a bit messy, but I love it that way. P.S. If the mess intimidates you, the HPB staff is very attentive and friendly :)

This is a great place to go to get books for a buck or two. The employees are always eager to help you locate a favorite author, genre or give general information. The store is very large and there are always shipments of books coming in. If you dont find what you want this week, stop back by. I do wish they had tables and chairs to sit and and browse, but otherwise, the store is clean (including bathrooms). Parking is a bit of a challenge so go on off times.

This is a cool little place, they have a little bit of everything, comics, books, vinyl, cds, and movies. They dont have quite the selection of music and comics that great escape has. But there prices are way better, and their customer service is extremely better. They will actually come up to you ask you for help or just chat with you. Great escape you cant even get them to look at you. So I would definitely check this place out if you havent

They always have good music, movies, and books. The staff is friendly, and their prices are insanely low. Ive seen CDs here for 50 cents or less. This is a great place for anyone who still likes to shop for those kinds of things but also has a budget to keep in mind. I hear they also hold Magic: The Gathering tournaments, if youre into that.

This is a gold mine! The most expensive book I saw in my 2 hours here (first visit) was $15. Most were $2-$4. Amazing selection. Well organized. Very friendly, available and helpful staff. They have multiple locations and online access! So cool! Im excited to come back! I spent $47 on 17 books.

If youre looking for a specific book, this isnt likely the place you want to go. However if you love to read or are looking for a gift for someone who does, this is the best place to go. The staff are always very friendly, and they have a huge assortment of books at terrific prices.

I usually get sucked into this place when I pass through Bowling Green, and I always spend way too much money and have to ship books back home. They have great deals on everything and their selection of books isnt bad either.

Good place for reader. good books, CDs in very good condition in cheap rate. They even have few sale days like everything one dollar each. Sometime it is bit difficult to find a book.
