The short story; my experience was awful, and I urge you not to do business with this company. The long story; I bought a black Samsung French Door fridge on June 10, and paid to have it delivered on June 11. In the first few days we noticed an issue with the freezer. I called George and he said his repairman would get with me soon. He was right. Shane called within the hour, and was at our place the next day. We spent a month trying to get the freezer working. With every call Shane was responsive and George was kind. Shane went above and beyond to take care of us. The strategy shifted in mid-July to find a replacement fridge. The owner, Justin, went to purchase more inventory, knowing our need, and did not come back with a suitable replacement. That was trip one. Trip two to purchase more inventory brought back a black side-by-side. It was a good fridge, but a lesser one. We would have taken the fridge, but the problem was it was not worth what we originally paid. I suggested a fair price, which involved a partial refund to us. The owner responded that he would only give us store credit. I declined the store credit. The strategy shifted in mid-August to get a refund. George was caught in the middle between me and the owner. George never raised his voice at me, and never swore at me. I always spoke to George respectfully. I appreciated my interactions with George. George offered a replacement; a white fridge that they would paint black. I agreed. What was supposed to be a five day process took three weeks. And so three months after all this started I finally received the replacement fridge. The ice-maker didn’t work. Rather than call the store and continue the insanity I ordered a new icemaker for $80 and replaced it on my own. Two things frustrated me. First was the lack of communication and involvement from the owner. He never took control of the situation until the very end. Second, when I was finally able to talk to the owner he blamed me for the entire fiasco. His point was that he offered me a substitute fridge while they continued to look for a permanent replacement, but I declined it because I wanted to control the situation. I did decline a temporary replacement because we were over two months into this process. At that point I wanted and deserved a refund, regardless of store policy. Justin blamed me. Justin blamed his employees, repeatedly. Justin blamed Samsung. Justin never owned his fault in our experience. This was the worst consumer experience of my life. The day my replacement fridge was delivered a neighbor called. She saw the truck in the driveway. She was in need of a fridge and wanted to know if I would recommend Old Town Appliance. I told her ‘no.’ And I tell you ‘no.’ Do not do business with this company.

If i could rate them a ZERO i would. Purchased a washer and dryer set from them and confirmed before paying, that they would throw in a dryer vent and have it delivered that same day. The woman there, Lissette, goes by "LaLa", took my money and said they would deliver that night. 4hrs later no delivery and no call to cancel. As Im looking at my proof of payment to find there # to call them the next day, i see that she charged my card a whole $100 more than what we agreed upon. I drove there and they acted like they didnt know me, and had no idea what i was talking about. Finally they find my payment, refund me the $100(that took 3 days for my bank to give back to me) and gave me some story that their delivery truck broke down, but couldnt give me a reason why they didnt call and inform me. They deliver it to my house within 30mins and sneakily bring me the wrong one that was $75 cheaper. They said LaLa marked that one for them to bring. He hooks it up and turns it on and while I grab my phone to call them to let the company know that they brought the wrong one, they FLOOD my laundry room! Used all my towels in the house to soak up the water. I asked for a refund to just be through with them and they said they absolutely DO NOT give refunds. They finally take the set back and within an hour returned with the correct one but no dryer vent. I went into another room and when I returned they had left. They told my son that they would bring the vent in 3 days. I cant wait that long to do laundry, so i went and purchased one. They refused to refund me the $10 cost of the vent. The washer would fill with water, then drain, would not wash or agitate. The dryer sounded like nails on a chalk board once turned on. I go to change the lent filter and realize it is missing that too! I felt like i was in the twilight zone, like I was being punked. I call up there to explain what i have been going through and LaLa talks over me and raises her voice instantly sounding annoyed, as if i had did something to THEM. They have NO customer service skills, rude, rude, rude. I paid my money and had nothing but problems ever since. They gave me a filter and once i got home it was the wrong size. I had to go back to the store for the 5th time and replace it. Its only been 3weeks now, and their repair man Daryl has come and fixed my washer and dryer FINALLY and I have a lent filter that works and fits. Never, never, never buy from them. Im filing a complaint with the Consumer Protection Agency ASAP.

I bought a fridge, stove and washer and dryer. The fridge needed door handles and the stove needed cleaned and the bottom drawer fixed which I was assured they would be delivered with everything taken care of. 1. They were late and upon arrival I noticed the fridge did not have the handles. I told the delivery guy I DIDNT want it. He didnt seem to care what I was saying. He took it off the dolly and scooted it into place. I just had a new vinyl floor put down. One piece 36ft long. Yes you guessed it it tore a whole in my floor. The stove was not fixed and was dirty. One of the burners was broken. I talked to the manager who was supposed to come to my place that evening after7. He did not show up or answer his phone. The next day, He said his phone stopped working and he had to stay late at the store.(evidently the store phone doesnt work after 7) He had said he worked in construction for10 years and he would look at my floor. I had my floor man look at it (who by the way, should up when he said he would). He gave me a few ways to fix it none of course would be the same. The prices ranged from $600-75 not including the flooring. I picked the $75 option. He fixed it the next day and I was very satisfied. Mean time the manager said that the owner wanted him to fix it because she wouldnt have to pay them as much. I told him it was my floor. I didnt know his work and the floor was already done and I was satisfied. They needed to pay for the work. You know how this story ends. My burner on my stove doesnt work except on high, the stove was cleaned my myself and Im eating the bill on my floor that their delivery MAN tore and admitted to. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE!!! ALL THEY WANT IS YOUR MONEY. RUN, RUN , RUN!!!!! If I could I would give them a -5 * Cathy Sexton
