I have been to Fine Line many times and have never had a pleasent experience. It is obvious that the "receptionists" who answer the phones and greet you at the counter have no knowledge related to piercings and tattoos. When I had trouble even making the appointment I should have known to leave and go somewhere else. The day of my appointment I waited almost an HOUR after my scheduled time to even be seen. The actual tattoo, albeit simple, turned out fine and Heather did seem to know what she was doing. Today I regretably decided to give the place another try. After talking to the incompetent receptionist for at LEAST 10 minutes I made an appointment for an opening later in the day. After I LEFT WORK to go and arrived there, it seems as though my appointment was never written down. The man at the counter seemed surprised to see me, even though I arrived at the time he gave me. My supposed tattooist Buck was with another client and informed me that I "could wait at least an hour." .....????!!!! I will never go back and I urge all my friends to do the same. Their tattoos may come out looking ok, but it is not worth the hassel of dealing with rude, incompetent staff and missing / late appointments. There is just as much talent without any hassel on 6th street at Electric Tattoo or Stray Cat in Manhattan. Also, my boyfriend had his nose pierced at Fine Line and it was so obviously crooked he took it out a few hours later. The piercer told him she would fix it, but we never went back for obvious reasons. I have had nothing but bad experiences there and heard nothing positive from friends that have gone before.

I dont even know where to start! Theres absolutely nothing negative I could say about Fine Line Tattoo. Someone would really have to dig deep to find something they didnt like. This shop is nothing shy of perfection when it comes to the body art business. They are clean (you see them open a new needle every time you get work done), tactful, respectful and honest. Each artist has their own sense of creativity, and it shows in their work. I personally use Jennifer for all of my tattoo work. Aside from being one of the most internally beautiful people I know, she takes an amazing amount of pride in her job. Anything from a small flower, to a huge body suit, she wont have you walking out the front door unsatisfied. If she isnt satisfied with her piece, shell sit there and work at it until she is. Everything at this shop, from the employees, to the quality of work, to the warranty they provide with their tattoos (lifetime!) to the actual shop itself - are the reasons why it has stayed in business so long. Their reputation and tattoo work speaks for itself. I get asked everywhere I go, who does my tattoo work, and every time I answer? I love that I can PROUDLY say Jennifer at Fine Line Tattoo!!

I have gotten my eyebrow, nostril, snake bites, tongue, and monroe pierced at Fineline. Their customer service is HORRIBLE! theyre a shop that just wants to get you in and out and take your money. A week ago my septum piercing fell out so I went back to get it repierced today.. i walked in and asked if it was too late to do piercings and she said sighed and said "...ok... Hurry!" Really? Thats your job! I was very specific with her that I wanted it pierced a little higher in my nose and she just pierced it in the exact same spot. A friend of mine came with me and got her septum pierced also and she pierced it CROOKED!! Then she started taking about how you can "train" the piercing and what not. She should have done it right the FIRST TIME! I am thoroughly displeased with their piercer and their customer service. Just make the 20 minute drive and go to Big Daddy Cadillac in Lawrence. I did that when I got my nipples pierced and she did fantastic! I will NEVER give my money to Fineline again.

I went in and got my cartilage pierced over a year ago. I followed all of the care instructions, kept it really clean and it never got infected. My ear still healed with a bump on the back which really isnt all that uncommon, however mine makes it nearly impossible to change the earring. I had to go to Big Daddy Cadillacs in Lawrence because I wasnt going to drive to Topeka that night and was in too much pain. Not only did they give me a new earring that would be easier to change, they also changed it for me, all for free. When I called Fine Line not only did they not apologize the woman said, "Well we cant help you in any way, shape, or form besides it was probably something you did". I know it wasnt anything I did because the much nicer and more professional staff at Big Daddy Cadillacs told me so. DO NOT GO TO FINE LINE FOR PIERCINGS.

Fine Line Tattoo is ,easily hands down, the best tattoo parlor in Topeka and the surrounding area. They have the cleanest working environment and obviously sterile equipment nothing goes unchecked here! All of the artists are wonderful people willing to take the time to make sure their customers are satisfied with tattoos they receive. I have logged a lot of hours under Jennifers needle and the skill and amazing ability she has to capture exactly what I want has always been surpassed! she did my first tattoo and no one has touched me with a tattoo gun since. A++ for quality work and quality customer care for sure! Dont waste your time going anywhere else!

I absolutely love this shop for both tattoos and piercings. I have been to many other shops and Fine Line by far has the most talented and knowledgeable staff around. The body piercers are always very helpful and well informed, l have never had any problems with any of my piercings that I have recieved from Fine Line. And, I have recieved at least one tattoo from every artist there and I LOVE them all, no regrets. They always do their best to draw up my tattoo and fit me in, even without an appointment. The prices for piercings and tattoos is as low as you could expect. I definetly recommend Fine Line!

I have work from a few different shops in the area, but since I first went to Fine Line I havent been anywhere else. Over the years Ive developed a relationship with Jennifer and the staff there and havent been to another shop since. The work they do is phenomenal and the highest compliment I can pay them is that I trust them completely to design and create art that fits my personality and outlook while also displaying their talent and creativity. I wear and display their work with pride. If you want a quality work of art, Fine Line is the place to go.

Everytime I go into the shop, there is nothing but helpful, nice people. It is a very clean shop, which you definately need when you go to a tattoo parlor. The artistist are very knowledgeable, and friendly. The place is very busy, so it is important to make an appointment. The receptionist is very helpful, and the piercing people are very helpful, and the tattoo artist are great. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS SHOP TO BE THE BEST IN TOPEKA. Wouldnt go anywhere else.
