No one insight for help in vitamin dept.for awhile..though it was about 8pm,so thats kind of typical for 119th store. And someone grabbed my shopping cart and put it away twice while I was trying shop! That too was pretty helpful... Honestly between 119th st ,and 91st and Metcalf store. Im not sure which has the worst food anymore Pizza may be the best hope some days.. And for a health store I never see a gluten free crust choice? The 91st street store taking first prize for not yummy food on hot bar. Not refilling hot bar, and im not talking about just the last hour at closing time either. Several times in last few months Ive stopped by 91st store at reasonable times to find the hot bar partially empty,or trays with such really nasty old food still in them no one wants it. Or with so little in them its not enough. And trust...no amount of at least 6 people over that time period milling around the hot bar repeatedly caused any employee to come out to help or see what anyone needed or fill a food tray! Comments made to an employee behind sushi area fell on deaf ears apparently and were not passed on ...nice.. On many of these occasions there were several other people milling around voicing their disappointment in this. On at least 3 occasions i went ahead and went shopping for a few things, thinking maybe someone would get out there and take care of the bar by the time i got back. Apparently others thought or hoped the same, but no such luck. Again despite comments being made to employees behind the counter... The lack of food choices and empty shelves, includes a lot of cold case pre-made things ,such as sandwiches ,cold salads etc..also being in short supply or non existant. Add,that we used to regularly buy the over priced "Brined fried chicken" ,but all of a sudden some time ago it started all being spicy, as in too hot. Initially it never even said it was hot on the packages..glad Im not allergic to any of those spices! Never the less warning would be nice before I get all the way home and find I can not eat it. Also I asked once after that if what was in the counter was hot/spicy, they said no,again I bought a box of very expensive fried chicken I could not eat..Thanks for that! Lot of people thinking the change in food bar quality and lack of abundance has to do with the store closing, to move to new location. Which makes no good sense as this is surely not a way to get people to follow you to a new location! In any case its disappointing and a waste of many peoples time to stop there as we have for years, only to find things so desolate . After the tasteless meal and chokingly dry chicken dinner we had at the 119th st store on Sunday afternoon, I can say we are done eating at either whole foods stores. The Olathe store was great for awhile ,then food choices changed. And more than anything the employee base especially around fresh food counters got terrible..bad service. Standing around for 5 to 10 minutes and no one comes to help you..coming back after shopping to try again same story..in numerous cases this included two to 3 employees standing at one end or other of the area chatting and not paying any attention to customers standing there that long! Add..this store also told me at one point that the Brined chicken in the counter was not spicy, but guess what! Ive been a very regular customer to these stores for a long long time, between the thinning of the actually good staff in depts, the allowance of prejudiced managers to treat some employees badly, making policy that employees cant spend too much time talking to customers especially in the vitamin ,nutritional dept. leaving those depts short handed. Firing the absolute most knowledgeable employees in the health dept after theyve been there for soooo long! Ya you guys arent seeming very smart or nice really. Its just gotten to where most of us think whole foods becoming a grocery store only, might be the best they can do.

This is is my default location for groceries. The staff here is great and I always found them helpful. The selection of fresh fruits/vegetables is great and I like the published ANDI scores near each. The group working in the butcher shop in the back are fantastic. Quick and efficient without being rude or dismissive when a bit of a line forms. I highly recommend the uncured bacon and grass fed beef selection here. The cashiers are always quick with a smile and a hand checking you out and bagging groceries. Even when the lines are busy they treat everyone really well and I havent seen a bad encounter. Overall I cant say enough about how excellent the service is here and the great quality of their selection.

I love Whole Foods and this is one of the bigger ones Ive been to and that mean a larger selection! We were able to find certain teas and other items that we typically have to order on line. Being able to have it right now is nice because I am an American after all! Seriously though, its convenient to shop for these types of things. The Whole Foods is clean and it seems like every employee knows about every product on every shelf! Im pretty impressed! Definitely an enjoyable experience!

What you hear about the prices CAN be true. As always comparison shopping is a good idea. The 365 generic brand prices are typically very competitive and in decades of Whole Foods shopping Ive never had a quality issue. They definitely carry some things you just cant find elsewhere. They have a good selection of fair trade products including their bananas. The employees are typically very knowledgeable about the products if you have a question.

I like the fact every WF is slightly different with its own identity and vibe. A microcosm of that attitude is the choice of La Croix in the water fridge. You can usually bet your life on the blue original and then a couple of others that the manager thinks reflects the local community. Maybe raspberry or my favourite Pamplemouse. This store had no blue original just Coconut and Lime, which lets be honest, is just f**king insane.

I havent even stepped foot into the store yet, and already Im in love. Anna in the grocery department was so helpful and patient. She was immediately willing to advise me if my requested item was carried in store, then advised how many in stock, and set the item aside so that I may purchase it without fear of it being snatched before I can get there! Such wonderful customer service should be recognized!

Went to this store for the first time. I enjoyed how everyone was helpful and I found what I wanted and it tasted great. I have only one complaint. I bought two Chipotle burgers to cook up at home. They looked so good. I was very disappointed, they were loaded with salt! It was so bad, I could only eat half of the burger. You are a healthy food place. Watch the sodium! Everything else was good.

Ive always enjoyed shopping at whole foods. The store always looks great. My one issue for this store is in customer service. Ive been to this store many times and rarely do I get asked by an employee how Im doing or if I need help finding anything. Also, there used to be more free samples out, recently when I shop here, there have been either 1 or none out.
