Great place to catch your breathe and have a "pour over" Ethiopian style. UPDATE: More important than the pour over is the sugar-free vanilla latte. This is by far THE BEST Ive ever tasted! Made with Parisis own vanilla flavoring this coffee is perfect. I take mine with an extra shot of espresso. My favorite! Coffee is great, but the cafe needs more interior color. Not fond of the European "sterile" look. Also, the stool/chair legs need to have plastic pads to help them slide easier on the concrete floor due to their awkward design. Coffee = ★★★★★ Cafe decor/ergo friendly = ★★★

This is a great hipster place with beardy-clad (male) staff and pour-over coffee. What I love: They make their own syrups which are unique and you can really taste the flavor they claim to be. Friendly staff. Coffee is fresh and fantastic. Its fun watching your drink being made here...the crema on the top of the espresso shots is exquisite. Best latte art around. Adventurous drink menu and seasonal. Con: Hate the seating! Sorry guys. More comfortable seating can go a long way.

i give it a small head up over the roastarie brookside and quay in the river market as my fav place to get coffee in the city.. Im not saying its better than those places, but that i like it better. New innovative drinks, great regular coffee and great location and ambiance... only thing that is suspect there is my phone reception is so so and the internet is not great either. Also... this place was voted one of Americas top independent coffee shops in the nation.

The coffee was good and the staff was curteous but not overly friendly. This is not your typical warm, comfortable coffee shop. The large amounts of glass doors dont do a great job of keeping the chill out, though Im sure its very nice in the warmer months. Theres also not much for atmosphere, its very Spartan and industrial inside. Ill have to update if I visit more, but for my time spent, Id prefer somewhere not so echoy and bright.

A modern and comfortable atmosphere, this coffee shop is a great place to study, work, or catch up with friends. Their coffee is handcrafted deliciousness and they know how to properly steam milk!! Their mochas are a great blend of chocoalte and espresso without being too sweet. They also have affogatos (ice cream with espresso poured on top!) that are a great treat when its a littler warmer out.

Parisi Cafe is well known in the coffee industry for having one of their baristia take on the title of US Barista Champion. Their dedication to the craft gives their store a unique vibe that creates the new standard in 3rd wave coffee shops. Their service is great, I paid for my drink and moments later it was ready. I would recommended this coffee bar to anyone in the area.

Very rude service. We asked if they had cold brew coffee and the barista argued that it was the same thing as iced coffee. When we explained what cold brew was and he responded "trust me I know what it is, Ive been in the business 15 Years". Then we got the coffee, it tasted burned and we couldnt finish it.

Ive been spoiled by having some amazing coffee spots around where I went to college, so while Ill still grab an average latte, it takes a lot for me to really drool over one. This is one of those places where it happens. You can taste the quality of the ingredients and the way it was formed. Magnificent.

This is a good spot where youll find a nice assortment from studying to visiting in a small space. Ive done both here and it always goes well. The pour overs are the best thing here for me but the teas are also excellent. Update: they now have a nitro cold brew which is excellent.

Ive never been disappointed at Parisi. Excellent espresso drinks and pour overs, knowledgeable staff. Its purely personal taste, but I love the design of this shop. Unfortunately, Im only in KC a few times a year, or Id be a regular.
