My trip to the area was a short weekend to Lake Buchanan. My girl and I were going to llano to explore the Downtown area and possibly get some coffee. It was a hot day and we were also interested in getting some BBq from a local famous old time pit smokehouse but needed coffee badly. We went into town and stumbled apon the only place open on Sunday for coffee. Turns out that it was also a live music venue and a great community place. It opened on Sunday to offer coffee and some free donated food for the locals that were in need!. The people inside were all very nice and offered us some coffee and food. I cant even begin to say how cool it was to find a local business that was community based and charitable. The coffee was great and fresh with the owner right there with the volunteers serving provisions to the familys and old timers. I think very highly of this place called Fuel and what it stands for. It is a true Community space!!!

Llano is niet toeristisch, maar wel de moeite waard voor een lunch bij Fuel. Het personeel is enorm vriendelijk. Aan de hand van een lijstje kan je je eigen warme of koude sandwich samen stellen. Op de veranda buiten staan drie tafeltjes met twee stoelen. Voor de uitstekende gratis wifi heeft u een wachtwoord nodig. Er zaten een aantal senioren met de nieuwste iphones en macbooks. Erg leuk om te zien in een dorp waar voor de rest de tijd heeft stil gestaan.

Ehh, not too god, Fuel. Nice atmosphere, and, man, was I mad when I went there. I drove for a while in Fredericksburg for a while looking for a pretzel. It said on their website that they had a pretzel, so we drove some 40 miles to Llano. Get there, ask for a pretzel. Some little kid (actually like an 11 year old) got one from a tray. It was some little cracker with pecans and caramel on it. So, I was mad. Instead, me and my family got coffee instead. I got espresso. It was cold. Way to top it all off.

Fantastic little spot. Great coffee, terrific sandwiches. EXTREMELY nice and friendly folks there. A FANTASTIC place to get a cup of coffee, get some lunch, hang out, spend time with friends, listen to live music, people watch or any and all of the above. My initial impression (and this goes to show my TV watching habits havent changed much) was that this was a Texas version of Central Perk from "Friends." That impression was only intensified once I got more familiar with the place.

My experience as a customer, performer and friend here have all been excellent! You can have great coffee, sandwiches and find out a lot about the Community here. Groups, clubs, bands meet here and its a cool, calm place to sit and catch up on work or play with the wifi, or just hang with friends.

Super cute little non-profit coffee house. We accidentally bumped into it, service is great, amazing choice of teas and delicious cookies. But hilarious to be drinking your coffee with the local knitting club, but it added to the experience!

A friend of mine was at this place today enjoying her Saturday when she reached for a plastic knife to spread her cream cheese the "barista" says--"Want you to be careful with that knife, I know how you brown girls are."

Sandwich dry. Didnt put enough Mayo and pesto. Waitress brought food without napkins and never came back to see if we needed anything. Building was historical and nice atmosphere but food just wasnt worth the cost.

Staff seemed inexperienced and unfamiliar with the menu and were very slow. Sandwiches averaged 15 to 20 minutes each and were served one at a time. Friendly, quaint, and generally a nice place for a cup of coffee.

Its not Starbucks and for that, I am thankful. Very open and easy going place. Good solid coffee and snacks. Its a non-profit taken care of by one of the local churches and the overall atmosphere is upbeat.
