If you have the time and are just stopping through on your way to San Angelo give this place a try. Fried pickles, onion rings and burgers are better than your gonna get from any of the "fast food" places in town. It is not set up to handle crowds but sitting next to the chicken getting to watch all the food prepared is awesome. Also, I challenge you to find a better milkshake in 100 miles. Was in and out in about 40 minutes so theyre quick too. Theyre not set up to cook large orders but that would ruin the overall look, feel and taste of the place. Will visit again.

Sweet little slice of Texas home cookin and hospitality. We were passing through looking at some land west of Coleman and saw the pictures of what looked to be a great hamburger and onion rings. No disappointments there. Friendly service with a smile, treated strangers like family. Food was fantastic. My wife loved looking around the store at all the different items they had for sale. We will be back again if we are in the area. Give them a try!

Awesome onion rings, and ice cream sodas that I havent tasted since the 70s. Very friendly staff, food delish and love the history on the walls. The pharmacy was right behind the dining area which was very convenient for us since we had colds and was able to grab some medicine while we waited for our food, which didnt take long. Lots of treasures throughout the store. Would definitely go back, just for their buttermilk pie.

Classic drug store soda shop. A lot of history in this place. Had a meatloaf sandwich and a shake and fries, all really good. Nothing fancy but you can tell they take pride in it. Very friendly service. And aside from the food its one of those places that has everything you need. Fun place to look around. Skip the fast food chains when driving through and stop at a great local place.

Delicious old fashioned hamburgers and other 1950s food at a good price. On a recent genealogy hunt in Coleman County with my sister we took a chance and tried the little lunch counter in this old drug store. It was GREAT! By far the best hamburger I have had in many years.

Old diner in a drug store?! Yep, and its pretty cool. A complete throwback to a simpler time. The folks are very nice and the service was outstanding. Plenty to choose from (breakfast is great too!). You must try the owl burger!

The real soda fountain feel. I highly recommend the Owlvis burger and a chocolate malt. The burger comes standard with a bag of chips, but I saw them hand battering some fried pickles and wish I would have got some.

Dont stop here after 1pm! Even though they close at 2 pm, theyll refuse to serve you, claiming they want to clean up. Quality customer service is not on their menu. Disappointed!

Its a very quaint and charming place. Wait staff is friendly and the food is good. The place still acts as a pharmacy as well so you can eat and pick up your prescription.
