Googled Cedar Rapids Florists and saw Newports. Called them and talked to a nice lady on the phone and in discussing what to buy my mom for her birthday and me not being able to make up my mind. She says, you should let us do a designers choice, we do good work! Well Kudos to you Newports!!! My mom recieved her flowers and loves them!! Verbatim ...."they are full and pretty on every side"! I have sent her lots of flowers and she says these are by far the nicest she has received from me, even tho I ordered from the big florists around her before! I do believe my mom will be making a visit there to check you out!! You have my business permanently!!! Great Job!! <3

I go here pretty consistently but make a very small purchase each time. Despite not being a big money customer, they remember me and my purchases and treat me as though I matter. When a guy needs flowers, this is the place to go and get what you came for without the awkwardness of being out of your element.

My mother received an awesome bouquet of flowers for her 90th Birthday, purchased by a family member at Newports Flowers. She received many bouquets for her birthday from various flower shops in Cedar Rapids but the one from Newports was by far the best!

The original (100 years ago) Newport family built the building and big smokestack to draw air for the greenhouse. Current owner is a Floral Designer and has been there for twenty years.
