Ordinarily I dont write reviews, but today I experienced something with a clerk at this Meijer store in Whitestown, IN, that has me flabbergasted! I was just finishing checking out, and had spent $200+. My 9 year old son, had found a penny sitting by the horse ride and had just picked it up when a older Meijer clerk said to him "thats for the horse, put it back, that would be stealing!" AND she was Serious! She repeated it twice that "its for the horse!" I was so shocked I couldnt think fast enough to comment and my son set it back by the horse. I told him to use it and ride the horse, but his feelings were hurt! And he thought he was too big anyway. First of all, lady, it was a penny on the ground! A child finding a penny is not stealing! And the horse is a ride! Does it matter if 1 penny doesnt get put in it? It isnt like he lives off those pennies! Really? It was one of the stupidist things I THINK I have ever heard an adult say to a child! She must not have a generous bone in her body! I sure hope she reads this. My kids were too upset to let me go back in and tell her what I thought! Crazy! My kids will probably never forget that experience!

Dont really know whether to dislike this store because of its humongous size or like it because it has every variety of anything. If you only need groceries you might confine yourself to the west 25% of the store. Youre in for a good hike if you need to shop the whole store. They shoulda built a parking garage in the center of a big circular store. Would be more efficient on my leg muscles. The store is a K-mart on steroids and even though one can find many national brands, theres something wonky about the inventory. In order to try to be a place for any everything, the compromise comes up lacking. There is a lack of choices everywhere. Youve put so much physical effort in your shopping trip, then you seemingly feel compelled to buy what they have from the limited choices available. Once you figure it all out, however, the place can grow on you, and you can appreciate the walking workout.

I was excited for this Meijer to open as it is close to the Lowes I frequent across the street. The store was very clean (being new) and the people very friendly. But the décor of the store left me feeling like I didnt want to come back. Maybe they were going for some 70s retro look or something but I felt like I was in an old Kmart. The colors are very drab, in fact I dont think there are any colors other than white, brown and tan and a polished gray concrete floor. Ive never had such an experience in my life where I literally felt depressed just by the look of a store. They should have kept theyre older color schemes because this new one left me never wanting to return.

Stopped at the Zionsville/Whitestown Meijer yesterday morning as part of a few errands. When I got home to put my order away, I realized the gift card I had purchased for a friend was not in my belongings. I called the Service Desk and provided my checkout lane number. Was told a manager would "look into it" and if they find it, I would hear back within an hour or so. I was pretty confident the "search" would end the moment we hung up. A few minutes later, the Service Manager returned my call and informed me that it had been found atop the register in my checkout lane. Thank you, Meijer associates and management, for a great Customer Service moment yesterday.

I went to this mejers last week to look for particular items. I was ask by one of the employee Kim if i needed any help and i explained to her what i am looking for. She took me to her collage Dustin and he new right away . This 2 employees went above and beyond to get me the items from the warehouse the palette was already taped up but Dustin took it down from the shelf unwrap it got the items, wrapped it again and helped me to the cash register and scanned it all. Kim was putting it all in the boxes. Than this 2 went and loaded it in my car..Now this is outstanding customer service!!! Thanks you 2.

Nice facility, but they will almost always be out of at least one thing you are looking for. Staff is nice, clearance table is nice, they just need to actually stock things, oh and get some bread that isnt stale. 2 month later update and moving to two stars, the staff and facilities are nice, but somehow they are out of even more now, shelves are consistently empty of every brand of some products, for weeks at a time there will be something missing

Ever since I started using the MPerks program I have been a loyal customer. This store is always clean and employees are friendly unlike the local Walmart stores. I have only had one questionable experience at this location. The lady I talked to on the Meijer Customer Care line as well as the Director of the store went above and beyond to help and apologize. I really appreciate their customer service!

The red headed girl that was working the self check out after midnight seems to have an attitude most nights she works...if she has to deal with any issues...I had something ring up wrong and she had an attitude in correcting the issue...the other girls that work late are very helpful and pleasant to talk to...I shop there several times a week...dont feel I should have to deal with this when I come in.

Raspberries were on sale 4/$5... I thought I checked them properly before buying them but I guess not since all 4 packs have mold in them. Last time I went before this time I bought peaches and had to give one to the greeting lady because it was fuzzy and green. I wont shop at walmart and it seems like I cant shop here. Other than the produce I like the meat and deals they have.

Was there at 12: 00am . Had to check self out. Couldnt get help with looking up veg, had to ask 3 times, then got rude cashier. Than had problem with it taking card. Had to wait for help. Not sure if card went through. She said I have to wait till Monday to get receipt. Then would not give me her name. Will not shop there again!!!

Very convenient location. Good prices. Nearly everything you might need in the regular course of suburban life. Can be difficult to find associates when needed. Nice store environment (clean, organized). Good to wander just to see whats available, or a quick in and out for exactly whats needed.

This is a very nice location, easy in and out. Very large store with good layout and wide isles it looked as if the produce was good quality and displayed well. Fast easy checkout so all went well on my first visit.

Frustrating check out. 2 of 4 no limit stations out of order and in general disrepair , 1 has been out since there a week ago. I go out of my way to come to Zionsville store because Carmel store has become low quality.
