Not happy! I went to the Richmond store to purchase a thumb drive and use my 5.00 off birthday gift. When I went to check out my debt card was refused and I was told I could not try it again, kind off insinuating I had overdrawn or what ever. I had used this same card at 2 stores before and went to another store and used it with no problem. I live on the other side of town and being semi retired I plan my trips carefully so as not to use extra fuel. He did offer that I might use a charge card but that was not a choice because I wanted to have it paid with my bank account. Why would an electronics retailer have such a policy when most other stores let you try again, I am sure I must have entered my password wrong. Although I wish to purchase a thumb drive and with the 5.00 off it would have been a good buy, I may have 2nd thoughts and go elsewhere to purchase. I felt as though I was being accused of something.

Its a Best Buy. If youve never been and your a fan of electronics and home entertainment then you should. Its got a lot of mainstream electronics at reasonable prices, plenty of gaming accessories, video games, movies, smartphones, TVs, computers, and tablets. Ive had only good experiences with the staff. Theyre helpful but Im not the kind that needs a lot of help as I am a geek and tend to know these products well. As far as the Best Buys Ive visited this one is no better or worse which means its a decent store. If you looking for the things they sell its a good local place to check. I picked up a 500gig SSD for my PC instead of having one shipped because the price was fair and I didnt have to wait for delivery.

Bought a display computer, the employee who sold me a display laptop told me it would be about 45 minutes to uninstall the demo software that was on the computer. I ran errands for about an hour and a half and still no call from best buy to inform me that they have taken the demo mode off of my laptop. I went in to see how much longer it might take to get the demo off of the laptop only to find out it was already done. I received no call and no one put any kind of information on my laptop which made it difficult to find my order. The customer service on the floor is great at this store, I dont recommend any other services beyond that.

Ugh, I walk around this place for up to HOURS while Mom is getting something fixed or looked at. Once last summer, I even had a ridiculously long video chat with my friends while doing so. All the electronics on display are really interesting, whether or not they arent terrible... (Apple products and Chromebooks!) The staff around the building are friendly and professional, and will surely fix your problems. If theres a place you should go for electronic-related service, this is the place to go. This Best Buy is even where I got the very tablet Im typing this review on right now. Rank S.

I think that they have a lot of TVs but none of their home theater receivers are connected so you cant try out the interface. They also have models that are outdated. Ive gone in and had someone tell me they would be right with me as they took care of another customer for 15 -20 minutes. Ive also been chased through the store by an over zealous clerk so depends on the day. Called to ask a question about 10 am, about a tablet I bought, was on hold for 5 minutes and she said she couldnt find anyone and suggested I come in. I guess she thought I could find them better than she could.

This store is considered a low volume store by the company and therefore gets lower priority on stock. They commonly carry only stock that is several months behind other stores that the company is trying to get rid of. That said, the employees are courteous and helpful, and the store is well staffed so there is generally someone available to assist when needed. With one notable exception, the sales people are not pushy and respect your time.

Pretty good selection. Most of the staff is really helpful and like to help you without being overbearing. I had one employee tell me to "cut out the middle man" and not come back into the store for help. I left really irritated. When I go back into the store I avoid her because she acts like she is too good to do her job and that you are bothering her by asking for help. Funny, I thought that was what customer service specialists were for.

The sales associates at this location are extremely knowledgeable, and seasoned. I have dealt with many of them over the past several years, and they are always going out of their way, to help me select, and compare products to my satisfaction! They got their act together, and always make my shopping/purchasing experience a real joy! well done Richmond Indiana Best Buy!

Purchased a TV that was a floor model and had it delivered to my home. The delivery crew was rude and upon delivery the TV was only wrapped up in bubble wrap, which is okay, but The TV didnt have a base, remote, or even a power cord. Talked to the Manager and they initially refused to give us the things that are supposed to come with the TV. Very poor service.

Best Buy has some really great deals and good products, but some of the employees there are rude as hell, there is a couple of guys I would love to punch right in their mouths, it would seriously be worth going to jail for,,, teach your employees some manners and people skills before me or someone else ends up in jail because of your rude ass employees !!!

gotta give 2-stars or less. called to see if they have a certain router, and gave them 7-minutes of my time, listening to their unpleasant on-hold music, before giving up. i can find many routers in 30 seconds online. theyve got to do better if they want to survive todays market.

We installed auto start (purchased in store) for the car. Guy who installed (Taylor) definitely is working with customers to resolve any issus and satisfy clients. Overall, my husband and I are happy with the service and new auto start.

A Best buy is a Best buy. The main issue here is that they have weird check out lanes. Two in one area, and more in another area. In addition, the employees act like like its their first day on the job and act accordingly.

Called to ask about something and spent 20+ minutes on hold. Got mad went to store asked to speak with a manger waited over an hour to be told that he had left thirty minutes ago. Bad phone service bad costumer service.

I had great customer service. I had to return an item and had no problems at all. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly. I dont shop here very often, but when I do I always have good service. No complaints.
