I made a purchase of a couch and loveseat by Kraftmaid (not sure if this is the correct spelling) from Miles Furniture in 2009. We ordered it and ended up waiting 6 or 7 weeks for it to be delivered. (Delivery includes removal of furniture to be replaced---nice service). The furniture is in our TV room. Within 3 mos of delivery, the fabric of the furniture began to break down. It is a napped fabric, and obviously the nap began to wear out. We are not hard on our furniture, as our last set lasted 12 years through 4 children. It is currently in our basement and is more out of style than worn out. Next, the springs began to make noise. And within a year, the cushions began to sag. Overall, for the price I paid, $2200 for the set, I am extremely disappointed at the value/quality of Miles Furniture. Two years later, I am making plans to replace the furniture. I already purchased a slipcover for each piece from Sure Fit, but the sagging of the cushions and noisy springs are too much. Perhaps I should have researched the brand more, but this set behaves as a set 1/2 the price. I WILL take my money elsewhere. Moral of the story: I think Miles is overpriced for the quality.

My visit to Miles Furniture was the best furniture shopping experience ever. They have a beautiful sales floor, many quality brands in which to select from. The sales staff were very informative and friendly. I bought a sofa and ottoman about a year ago. It is beautiful! The price I paid was better than other stores I looked. I will definitely shop Miles Furniture when I need furniture. They should be very proud!!! Five stars!

While travelling between Indy and Bloomington my wife and I broke down right at Miles Furniture and limped into their parking lot. We found out that their employees are top-notch, their building nice and spacious (they even have a snack room nook to rest in) and a wide selection of furniture. They helped us find the best tow truck in town and were extremely hospitable.

Sales were fine and they had no problem cashing my check. When the furniture came in, it was a hassle picking it up--definitely not on the clients terms as far as help or convenience. Probably wont go back and what a shame, wanted to support a local business.
