I went to buy a black Moore goldfish. I ended up choosing 2 goldfish. There was a little African American lady back in the lawn and garden section doing absolutely nothing but walking around. She asked if she could help and I said yes and she looked in the cabinets for a bag for them. She found one that had some dirt in it and said she couldnt use it. She then proceeded to look in one cabinet and then go back to the lawn and garden section and wander around for a few minutes and then tell me I couldnt get the fish because there was no bags in the entire store. One she could have gone 2 aisles over and asked another employee to help her because she obviously had no clue what she was doing since she went to lawn and garden to look for bags. Two she wasnt even trying to make a sale since all she was doing was wondering around in lawn and garden and then after she said I couldnt get fish just stared at me and then went back to lawn and garden.

The best of the three Walmart Supercenters in the area - feels the cleanest and makes for the easiest shopping experience compared to the very busy West Lafayette and even busier Lafayette Walmarts. Walmarts Great Value brand does have a few qualities like great prices on milk alternatives. However all prices are not as cheap as Walmart wants us to believe. Compared to Payless and Meijer, Walmart prices rarely offer a substantial difference. And unfortunately, compared to produce, all the others, Meijer, Payless, Target, Marsh, Aldi, and especially Fresh Thyme offer far better quality making any low prices not low enough to recommend Walmart.

I talked to a woman in customer service concerning a problem with my online order over the phone. She told me I had to come in to assess the issue and when I asked for her manager she began talking over me and raising her voice. When the manager finally got on the phone, I told her about the problem with my online order and she said she would be back. I waited for 22 minutes before hanging up and calling back to get their names. I was transferred back up there, and nobody ever picked up. Definitely wont be spending my money at this location again because clearly, they dont care about their customers.

This place sucks. Im a disabled veteran and they wouldnt make change for me to ride the bus after I spent 50$ there. I had to spend another dollar to get the change. There guy selling phones new nothing about phones the Betty the cashier was talking with Wilma about the kids then the weather. Over all bad experience Everytime I go to Walmart but the prices are reasonable. The services are poor at best. Waited 30 minutes in line to buy a money order one lady asked the clerk if she had her break but didnt offer up any help. I guess that was her only job to go around asking who had there break.

Dont even try going here if it has anything to do with the auto center, theyre so slow. If you do expect an 1-2 hour wait at any time of the day, also if you call expect to be put on f**king hold about 4 times before the auto center actually picks up 20 minutes later, just to tell you that you cant make appointments and also that the wait time is still f**ked. I wrote this entire damn review while on hold for the autocenter :) Im not impatient in fact Ive got some time but holy crap these people will push your buttons, right after they push the damn hold button.

The poor customer service and lack of caring about anyone other than their selves, or their personal convo with another employee. Carelessly and hazardly bringing out stock very early and no regard to blocking customers access to products. Early as in beginning to bring pallets and skids out as early as 630p on weekdays. VERY minimal amount of lines open, even through peak times and multiple customers long waiting for check out...

I dont like negativity at all, but I have to leave this here for future customers. I waited over half an hour at the new pickup kiosk. Another woman came by and waited with me for a while too, until I went up to customer service and told them about how long it was taking (kudos to them for helping me out!) So just for future reference, guys, maybe check on your new pickup area a little more! Thanks!

Its Walmart. I get the general impression that Walmart employees dont really care about their customers. Of course, there are exceptions. This Walmart doesnt change my overall impression. And dont show up at midnight when they change their cash drawers. Youll be waiting 20 minutes while they do their thing. I drive another 5 minutes to Pay Less to spare myself the agony of those drawer changes.

Convenient and always eager to help. Of the three in the greater Lafayette area of Indiana, its newer and better run than its St Rd 26 location, although the West Lafayette store.is still the best. Every one seems genuinely interested in listening and helping you find what you need, although this particular large store can seem under staffed later in the evening and on weekends than most.

The old lady at the check out, that has been working there for awhile, was very nice to the customers in front of me, but when I got up there, she said, "oh its WIC" and was rude to me the rest of my check out. I didnt appreciate her rudeness. I went in there a week ago to buy chili, and there was nothing on the shelves for the brand of chili I make. It was very irritating.

Sometimes things are great, other times its a mess an everything is all over. Hate thats there is tons of lanes but only 3 going when its packed. Sick of melted ice cream by the time I get home because of how long the lines always are. Its 50/50 on how youll be treated by staff. Some are great, others are rude an just there for a pay check.

Less crowded and more organized than the other Walmart in Lafayette. Product and placement similar to that found at the Walmart off of State Road 26. Larger bank of self-check registers also lead to shorter wait-times in line. 24 hour general merchandise with pharmacy open until 8, and deli counter is manned until 6 PM.

Its a decent walmart. But I wasnt impressed with my service at the car service center. It was expensive for a Walmart but they told me I could come back at anytime that night no matter how late to retrieve my car. But when I came back, I was not allowed to get my car and had to come back the next day, which was a pain.

I reported a cracked mirror not just once but twice and was told they would take care of that. Well I have 3 different pictures that I took after that and it has been a week and it is still not fixed I just hope a child doesnt get hurt. By the way the day time store manager came over and looked at it.

Ive been here exactly once for the automotive section. I wanted to exchange a car battery that suddenly died and the woman working there couldnt have been more helpful. Without question, she accommodated me and made the exchange. It was a better overall experience than going to AutoZone or Advanced.
