I bought a groupon for waxing services. It was a package of three. The services were not great. She definitely doesnt make a plus-size woman feel comfortable in their own skin, thats for sure. Ive received waxing services at two other locations in the city, and never heard about poor skin tone or hard to reach places before, Im not THAT overweight, for gods sake. I wouldnt recommend them to anyone or purchase them in the future. On the second service appointment, I also got a haircut. It was a Monday, so they were half off. It was still $35 and it was a $5 haircut at best. That service technician liked to point out my fine (to her, this means THIN) hair. It seems like the whole salon takes classes in how to subtly insult people. No wonder they had to move from the large location on Mass Ave to this cramped shop. And for the third wax, I needed to cancel my appointment and reschedule, but never could get anyone on the phone, and I didnt leave a message, which apparently is my fault and if I wanted to use the third appointment for the groupon, Id need to pay full price. I had even stopped by during business hours just to run in and cancel when I couldnt reach anyone, and no one answered the door and it was locked. Yeah, its not a service worth the groupon price, and if I hadnt already paid for it, no way would I have gone back. Paying full price was a joke. I told her I wasnt interested, and that her services were definitely not good enough for the price.

I booked an appointment through them directly to honor the price for the groupon special they were offering. They made me pay for the service over the phone, which I thought was weird, but some salons require payment upfront, so I didnt think too much about it, and since you have to purchase the actual groupon in advance, it didnt seem too outlandish... That was, until I had to cancel the appointment. I canceled over a week in advance, in compliance with their cancellation policy. Since then (its been over a month) I have been leaving messages for them to contact me in regards to my $149 refund. No one has called me back, and I cant seem to get anyone on the phone when I call. I am going to have to report them to the better business bureau, and contact my credit card company to try and recall the payment. This is ridiculous.

Love Trinia, she is so easy to work with. I am a pretty large plus sized girl and have never been made to feel less about who I am. Wonderful experience - had bought the groupon and will be using my 3rd Brazilian today and will be booking all of my future waxings here with Trinia - fantastic lady, laid back and very welcoming. I am a NY girl and have been to some of the finest salons here in the states as well as abroad and this place holds its own to all of them.!!!

They are wonderful! I deal with Trinia for waxing and she is an absolute doll! It was my first time ever getting a bikini wax and I was really nervous and she made me feel very comfortable with the whole process. Wont go to another girl ever!

Cant call and speek to an actual person. Must leave a message and wait (and wait) for a call back. They need a receptionist who focuses on answering the phone and setting appointments.
