I had my car serviced back in April 2015 by the 96th st location in Indianapolis, In. My specific issues were that my cars engine light was on, it was misfiring and when I turned left, there was a creaking noise. After the diagnostic, I was told that my computer system wasnt working properly and that it was sending mixed/wrong signals to my engine which is what was causing the engine light to stay on and the misfiring. I was then told that I needed a tire rod for the creaking noise and that the cost would be $1200. I asked repeatedly if they were sure this was the problem. Not only was I told that they were sure that was the problem, I was told after it was fixed that they ran another diagnostic on the computer afterwards, they werent getting any bad readings and that all was well. A week after the svc., the same issues started again. I called and they said to bring it back in. However, it has been nearly impossible to get back there due to some life issues. Which is the reason I took my car when I did because I knew it was going to be next to impossible for me to get my car fixed any other time. Fast forward to today 10/20/2015. I take my car in because for one it needs a tune up and an oil change plus the issues that I bought it in for the first time. I was called by Shavon (not sure about the spelling but its a guy). For starters, he wasnt listening to what I had to say. He was very matter of fact about everything. He said that my catalytic converter needed to be replaced which was the reason my engine light was coming on which would cost $2000. Then he recommended some other things that didnt even address the misfiring and the creaking noise (which again is the 2nd part of the reason I was bringing it back in). I tried to explain my position again but again, he wasnt listening so I told him Id call back. I had my husband call back. Your operation keeps trying to make a point of, "well theres something else causing the problem" and that its been 6 months since they serviced it. Ok, let’s go with, "something else is causing the problem". Then why did I spend $1200 on my computer which I was told was the reason for my engine light and misfiring and that the tire rod was replaced? Somebody please explain this to me! So what if theres another problem causing the issue! That may very well be the case. But the fact still stands that I brought my car in for the same issue 6 months ago, was told that they found the issues, fixed them, checked to make sure the issues were resolved and was charged $1200 for a fixed issue. I call within a week of the first fix, you claim you dont have a record of it. Ok, let’s go with “you dont have a record of a call”. So do you mean to tell me that I pay you $1200 to fix something, I continue to have the same issue but because you don’t have a record of it, my complaint is irrelevant? So again I ask, if I paid $1200 to have an issue fixed and it’s not fixed and you all are telling me that it’s something else causing the problem, then what did I pay $1200 for and why do I have to pay again to have an issue fixed that I was told was fixed the first time?

DO NOT GET YOUR VEHICLE SERVICED HERE! Earlier this year, I had gotten my oil changed and windshield wipers replace. Driving my car the next day, it started to rain so naturally I turned on my windshield wipers, and THEY FLEW OFF! I immediately drove to the dealership as I was able to catch the wipers, and informed them what happened, and they acted as though I was stupid since I just had to pop them back in. If I was on the highway, I could have been in an accident, and was not apologized to. Fast forward months later, we noticed my car was gradually leaking oil, we were going out of town, so we had stopped to check to see if I had an oil leak. It was at this time we noticed that the oil plug had been over torqued by a power tool into the oil pan. We were able to get it removed with our hand tools and at this time we noticed that both the oil pan and oil plug were completely stripped, and had been rigged with helical wire to hold it into place. WHY WAS I NOT INFORMED AT MY OIL CHANGE OF THIS?? Since we were halfway to our destination, we stopped and bought a $16 dollar oil plug hoping this would fix the issue, at least temporarily, but the oil pan simply would not hold the plug because it was stripped so bad. From this point, my car stopped holding any oil, it was just a constant leak. We had to come home from our trip because it was unsafe to drive, and called the dealership first thing on Monday to tell them the issue, I spoke with Mark Phillips and had my inoperable vehicle towed in for them to look at. He stated I had a warranty through June 2017. I then received a call from Mark stating that we had damaged the oil pan when we put our oil plug in, and I was expected to pay $650 to replace the oil pan and plug. When I stated that I had a warranty and the it due to their negligence with telling me how they had rigged the plug to hold, he stated it was still our problem. I had my sister, whos a service manager at another dealership and speak with them, and Mark said, and I quote "I cant prove or disapprove that we did it". He also stated to me that placing a helical wire after an oil change in a Chevy Cruze is how they did their oil changes...Why was I not informed of this? THIS IS RIDICULOUS. You would think something as simple as a windshield wiper replacement and oil change you wouldnt have any issues, but clearly they cant even do the most routine services correctly. Now, I have to take my vehicle elsewhere and hopefully not be charged $650 for a screw up they made. I used to love owning a Chevy, but after this customer service experience, I will never purchase another Chevy Vehicle again. Will post a picture of the stripped oil plug!!!

Horrible experience. I am at fault for arriving a few mins. late but that was due to traffic. I got there and the advisor said he had me as a no show instead of calling me to find out if i were coming or not. Then I told him i want oil change, fix a flat tire, the safety recall and the regular maintanance for my truck which i asked him what i needed and his response was "Nothing else". I was surprised because my truck has over 46k miles and I know it needed the 50k-60k service. Then I replied that i wanted the service needed and in a rush manner he pointed out some services and pointed all prices but never stoped to explain that they have a special for $650 that pretty much covers all i wanted. When i showed to get my truck back, I got a copy of the invoice for almost $1k , they tried to charged me for the safety recall fix, all services were charged separately (a la carte) and on top of that now i have to pay extra money for the coolant system service and steering service. His partner did not do anything to help other than offer to keep my truck for another day when i explained to her that i travel a lot and i needed my truck for everything i do. She washed her hands by saying she "wasnt there when the vehicle was dropped off." After this review, the adviser called me next day to apologize and to asked me what it would take to make me happy and come back with them. So we ended up setting up another appointment to take care of the other maintenance services needed. Offered me a lot of things but i did not want any more than what I asked for. I came back to get the remaining of the 50k - 60k services done to my vehicle and he was very prompt and made sure my vehicle was done within the promised time frame. They brought me up to their shop to show me a couple of issues with my tires which i knew i had and offered me a good deal on a set of 4, though, i only needed to get two but i settle for all four of them. In the end i think they satisfied my needs and met my expectations; however, i do not like the fact that it took a complaint and a bad review for them to realize that as a customer I am willing to take care of my investment if they make me aware of my options available with transparency. In the end i hope this does not happen again and for the time being I believe i will be going back for my maintenance needs on my vehicle.
