First of all, I think the associate that waited on us must of had ZERO training, and I blame the corporation for allowing individuals who clearly dont know what they are doing to be interact with customers. This wasnt a $5 sale it was over $1000. The young man loaded the materials, which their wood quality is less than poor (and that is being nice) and every time I stated I wanted a different piece of wood, "Trust me this is the best we have", over charged us for items and gave us the lesser quality materials. Now for myself, I had to go re-purchase these items at Menards since it never seem to fall in business hours, so thank you so much for ripping me off. Also the young man, while I was standing under the steel awning hit the steel poles SEVERAL times, causing the whole awning to shake enough to be asked to moved, with the forklift. REALLY??? Why was he allowed to be on forklift? I mentioned it to another associate and he joking said, "the man was supposedly a pro on the forklift". UM, NO he isnt! I am extremely disappointed and wont go back. I can see why so many 84 Lumbers have closed!

Very inept. Took 4 attempts to get 1 of the 7 doors right. Very poor lumber was delivered and had to return a good 40% of it and ended up getting it from lowes and Home Depot. They ordered product (baseboard and door trim) that I wasnt provided an opportunity to give input on. They doubled up on my original order and had to go back several times to straighten that out. Delivery times were not what they said they would be and no phone call was ever given. Everything was very much in the air. One of the many deliveries they just up and left because one of the guys "had to pick up his kids" extremely disappointed.

Near non-existent customer service. After contacting three sales associates on the same subject, I have gotten nowhere in two weeks time regarding the products I am looking to purchase. I will not give 84 Lumber anymore of my time or money due to this experience.
