Told to get a job by a shallow image judging manager (I have seven rented units and a full time job), and dangerous untested products. I have gone here a lot over the years and in the past it was fine. I have noticed issues recently. I bought a ceiling fan that sparked when hooked up, the inside of the fan was a major fire hazard. I didnt make an issue out it, but on repeat visits notice that there was never any carpet in stock. After going there daily for a week I found a roll of carpet that had been sold already, (five days earlier). Upon examining the ticket closer the date of the sell was last year! I dont know whats up with that. I went in today to get some tile. I was in work clothes but some shallow people have a problem with that image, as we will see. I found some tile I was interested in but it was covered in grout and mud and to install it a few tiles would have been broken in the process. I offered less than a dollar. Truth be told I was buying $64 in tile and offered 30 based on the condition. In this past this was fine. I was sent to the manager. I told him I only had 50 which is true. I took off work to finish this house before leaving town for a few months. Not only would he not work with me (admitting you could get a 10 percent veteran and student discounts on Wednesday), but when I mentioned this and showed the tiles condition, he told to "get a job" and come back!! No lying. Managers name is "Lemond" and he shouldnt judge appearance nor should he continue to sell dangerous-trash products, some of which are fire hazards when not tested! Horrible place, horrible manager, and a horrible person. nough said.

WARNING!!! If you purchase something and leave it at the store for pickup you run the risk of them selling it to someone else!!! This store has been a blessing but VERY disappointed today!!! Apparently someone took our sold tag off and one of the workers sold it. A little fishy because we made sure to adhere the sold label on our item. The customer service did not show apathy until they realized we were not ignorant. Just really disappointed....

We just moved into our first home in the area. I went to scope this place out. Note: you walk around the building to get in. The variety is great! Lots of matching sets. Lower than retail and negotiable prices. Really welcoming staff. I was being a bit of a weird o snapping pix to show hubs but not buying anything lol. I will be going back with both of our vehicles soon! Im thankful for this place.

Very friendly staff, Louisville stores are clean, neat and always have new stuff. Many things are much cheaper than the big box stores. . Only wish is that they would try to sell more broken stuff or parts for things. I re-purpose things and always look for unusual parts or broken items. Still my favorite store in Louisville! I have purchased antiques, Schmidt cabinets and a really nice brand new Toto toilet at the Hikes Point location. All were at least 50% off and their packaging is professional. Everything they sell comes from donations and their profits go to help build homes for Habitat for Humanity.

The store staff never one greeted or thanked me for coming as I walked out the door. Ive also seen bettwr furniture at garage sales. Unless youre desperate for chip board tables/cabinets or random electronic/paint supplies, steer clear!

This is a great place to catch some great deals on a variety of home goods, tools, lumber, furniture, appliances, etc. The staff is very helpful and kind, it has quickly become one of my favorite stores in town!

Not a typical "thrift store." Mostly doors, cabinets, knobs and fans. SMELLS HORRIBLE but if youre looking for that stuff, good deals.
