I had an awful customer experience with CPR Cell Phone Repair in Greenwood, IN. If you care to read the full story of what they put me through, feel free to read on below. If you want the short version, I wouldnt ever touch these guys with a 10 foot pole. Theyve lost my business forever, and I will steer people away. This is not how you do business. So I started off trusting them by putting $100 dollars down for them to order a Moto X 2nd gen screen. A few days later, I made the 40 minute drive up to CPR and brought my phone in for a screen repair that was estimated to take 1-1.5 hours. It took 2.5 hours for them to figure out that the screen they ordered was not going to work, so they threw the cracked screen back on my phone hastily, and handed it to me with a dead battery as they closed their doors for the day promising that they would order another screen. When I got in my car, my phone charged for about a minute, and then went completely dead. Since they had closed their doors for the day, I was without a cell phone for that night, and had to make the 40 minute drive back up the next day to find out that they had botched the battery connection in my phone when they threw the cracked screen back on. To fix this, it took another 2.5 hours, and the phone was handed back to me in a pretty sad state. The rear cover on the phone was hanging somewhat loose, but the technician assured me it was fine as we would be fixing the screen soon. Fine...I have a case on my phone that will help keep the rear cover on anyway. Four days later, which was on the high end of the approximation of when theyd receive the second screen, I got a call from CPR to say that their normal supplier was out of these screens, and I was asked if I wanted to still order a screen. The answer was of course yes, since I had invested so much time and money into this process so far, plus my phone was already in a sad, repair-ready state. Again, 3-5 days was the estimate for the next screens arrival. 7 days later I called CPR, since I hadnt heard anything about the second replacement screen. Turns out the screen still wasnt there. I was told that a shipment came in containing the screen, but it was nowhere to be found...likely given to another person who hadnt already gone through hell. So, the manager promised that hed have another screen overnighted to try to make things right for me...fine. Today is one week after I was told that the screen was overnighted, and they still do not have the replacement screen. Apparently their main supplier is back ordered for another 18 days. I did have one missed phone call from CPR (I was busy at the time), where they apparently wanted to see if I was OK to order a screen from another supplier, but they did not follow up with another call, and I had no idea that wed be further from having my phone repaired than ever. In the end, I demanded a refund, and Im elated that I never have to speak with anyone at CPR ever again.

Took a Samsung galaxy note 4 here to get a charging port replaced. It took one week to get the part in stock, when I called to see if it was done I was told yes, however they broke the glass. they will repair it, but it will take a week to get the part in. Nine days go by, I call and ask what is going on. They say it is fixed so I come to pick it up. Everything seems be working, I bring it home to my son he was excited to have a back. But then he tells me the sound doesnt work, and his games dont work. Indeed the speakers didnt work and it reported a damaged SD card. I brought it back in, said they would take a look at it. some time goes by, I ask what the statuses and Im told they got the speaker working however they broke the glass again. Apparently the LCD display was damaged as well and it is a difficult part to come by. two weeks go by and I receive a phone call that it is done and I can pick it up. they did not have the SD card in, fortunately I looked. When I put it in it still says damaged. they tell me it worked in a computer, and sometimes galaxies have difficulty with cards over 32 gig. I tell them it has been in the device for over a year working flawlessly. At this point I told them I will figure it out on my own and took the device. It was out of my possession for over a month for the charging port. I had already purchased a replacement device on eBay for nearly the same price that I paid to have this part replaced. It is difficult to cost justify repairing something like this, but I gave it a shot. Lesson learned.

Do not go here unless you have one of the common phones (Galaxy, Iphone) with a common problem (shattered screen). I dropped a Sony Xperia Z Ultra which needed the most routine repair: replacing the digitizer. I brought it here since theyre cheaper than UBreakIFix. I have finally learned for the last time that we get what we pay for. The technician tore the battery cable thus requiring a battery replacement from China. After a month I am told that the phone is not repairable and I should just sell it for parts. The phone was in perfect condition when I brought it in besides touch not working. How does it go from that to not working at all? So I bring it in to UBreakIFix, where I shouldve gone in the first place. They tell me they get a lot of business from CPRs screwups. They tell me Im actually missing parts in my phone and that I should demand a phone replacement from CPR, because UBreakIFix wouldve replaced my phone if they made it worse than how they got it. Im even missing my sim card which I had to get back from CPR. Totally unprofessional. So now I am buying an Xperia Z Ultra on Ebay for $200 to use those parts because I really want to get some data off my phone. UBreakIFix told me they can fix my phone even after CPR tirelessly destroying it. Since CPR isnt responsible for phones that they destroy, just take your phone to UBreakIFix. More like CPRBreakIFix.

The first time I brought my phone there they ordered and fixed the screen within the week and had the cheapest price of anyone I had called prior. Now they have had my phone for over 3 weeks, first it was waiting for the part, then the screen was fixed, then it wouldnt charge, then they had to order a battery. I have called them at least ten times now checking to see when I could have my phone back because I need to have it for my job. I always get told the battery is still shipping, now its in this state, now its in Cincinnati, its still in Cincinnati, it got rerouted.......I am currently on the phone with them now. The guy doesnt even know why its there, he thought I brought it in for the battery.....total mess of miscommunication. Then everytime I am told they will call me back...nothing. He just told me he would call me back before 6 and if he doesnt for me to call him. Why do I have to call you again? havent I called you enough? can you guys not keep track of your orders/customers? I guess well see around 6pm what happens.
