My 14 year old daughter and I are both members and come and shoot at least once a week. The range is always well lit, clean, climate controlled, and most importantly, SAFE. I literally trust them with my life and my daughters life. The one time my daughter saw a safety issue, she notified the staff and they immediately had a chat with the customer to reinforce the safety rules. The store is well stocked with supplies, ammo, and a variety of firearms and archery equipment. They can also order you whatever you want. They have a variety of firearms for rent so you can try before you buy. My daughter was very picky and tried over 20 handguns and then they ordered her the one she wanted in tiffany blue. They were just as excited as she was when she got to shoot it the first time because they do care about their customers. They also offer gunsmith services. They have replaced the sights on a couple of my firearms for a reasonable price and it was good quality work. As for some of the negative reviews, I have seen a couple of times where they are not all smiles. Then again, they deal with all types. I have found them to be very helpful and they often make suggestions to help improve shooting as well as offering classes. Like any business, I find some of their prices to be better, some about the same, and sometimes they are more expensive. I could say the same about buying groceries or automobiles. Do your homework. In summary, it is a nice range, good store, and a good bunch of guys doing their best to provide quality service for a fair price. They want to encourage the shooting sports and try and be as good as they can with children and the ladies, too. They have all acted like gentlemen and you could safely bring your wife, daughter, and the church ladies into their establishment.

Went in to buy an 8mm cleaning brush for my mosin nagant. They didnt have any on the wall, but were willing to sell me one out of their gunsmiths toolbox. I also bought some cleaning solvent and a 12 gauge cleaning brush, and yet they treated me just like a customer spending $1000 on a gun. This is the mark of a quality store. All too often you go to a gun shop and they literally wont talk to you unless youre ready to spend thousands or are over 60 years old. This is not one of those places. They offer training/classes as well and I am definitely considering signing up. Nice people, nice selection, good service...you cant ask for much more than that!

Thought it was the warmest indoor range Ive ever been in. Forced my wife to come shooting with us and the staff was very patient and accommodating. They gave us the stall furthest from everyone else, and they patiently walked her through the pluses and minuses of each of their rental guns (sometime you need to hear it from someone you are NOT married to). They had outstanding service and Ill definitely be back!

Great staff that is very knowledgeable and helpful. Firing range is well kept and has plenty of lanes and they offer free targets for use. Parking can be a hassle if theyre busy, but there is public parking on the other side of the dentists office available when their lot is full. Good selection of pistols for range use and variety of weapons for purchase beyond just pistols. (Range is small firearms only)

Excellent gunsmith services with knowledgeable and skilled craftsman. I have had several vintage firearms restored here, and have always been impressed by the quality of the work. The gun shop has a friendly atmosphere with a good selection of firearms and shooting supplies. Great gun and archery ranges also.

I came in to rent a few handguns to test on their range. I was promptly greeted and directed to a case where a friendly guy showed me around their selection. The range was nice enough, had to do a bit of guessing as to the distance, but it was clean, bright, and well ventilated. Im glad I went.

Stuck up and thought they knew more than they really do. I asked to look at a gun in the case and they acted like they didnt want to allow me to do so. Very disappointed after hearing some good things. Unfortunate because I live close by. My experience was not a good one!

The folks at Highsmith have been fantastic!!! Very fair trading, Good floor prices, and FREE services too, (They were more than happy to laminate my new CCL!!!)... Indoor range, two gun smiths, archery, etc... All around a GOOD group of folks IMHO...

The people that work there are great, the Range is nice and its affordable. The ammo you can buy for the Range is inexpensive, they have many different hand guns you can rent. So you can try out different calibers and frame sizes before you buy.

Staff was condescending and arrogant. Didnt like the way they treated my dad and the prices are too high. They act like you should automatically know everything about guns of the same way they do. Ill never go back it was a horrible experience!

Greenfield has several Gun stores. What makes Highsmiths the best is that is has a very nice gun range at the store. I enjoy shooting my hand guns and 22 rifle at the range. it is always clean and well staffed.

Amazing customer service and a great selection. Having an in-atore armorer is always a must at any gun store I frequent. Id recommend taking your guns or knives in and having them cerakoted! I did!!
