I was purchasing a cake for my daughters 1st birthday party. The owner was completely rude & talked to me like I was a child when I was being very nice. We get cakes for every event here, but I refuse to go through this "business" anymore. I think the owner should go back to grade school & learn proper manners. I advise everyone NOT to go through Indulgence for your cake needs. **Edit** I believe I said it was "the owner" twice. I think I was told his name was Sean. I ordered on the 9th of May & pickup was the 21st of May. The only thing you can do is learn some manners & not be so rude....thats how to fix the problem. Thank you for your time.

We recently celebrated our daughters wedding and Indulgence was there helping us plan the weekend events surrounding it. They catered 2 separate events for us that weekend, in addition to making the wedding cake! It was wonderful, stress free and food was DELICIOUS! Sean was absolutely great to work with, listening to what we wanted and what would be best. The staff was also great, very professional!! We look forward to our next event and having Indulgence do our catering again! Did I mention food was DELICIOUS and the Cake was delicious and BEAUTIFUL! Thank you Sean and staff!

Too brightly lit, with lots of wood tables and several booths. Red walls with local art. Soft rock on a bit too loud. Only one outlet that I saw. Small collection of good loose leaf teas. Only chai is from the Oregonomicon. Large collection of kinda boring, heavy pastries, particularly mini cheesecakes. Large menu of lunch options. Probably free wi-fi, but the counter girl couldnt remember the password. Have dropped in a couple of times and theres almost no one here. I think they make their money on catering.

I recently ate here for the first time. While the coffee was excellent, I was appalled at the unsanitary food preparation! The gentleman who was running the cash register (thus handling cash and credit cards) and taking peoples dirty dishes, went straight over to the counter to help make the salads---he cut up the fruit and veggies without washing his hands or putting on gloves! I was too disgusted to taste the salad so I cannot comment on the food.

This place is awesome! I really enjoy the lobster grilled cheese, mushroom and brie soup, and the red velvet hot chocolate drink here. Their cheesecakes and icing on cakes are delicious, too, as it is not overwhelmingly sweet like so many I have had from stores. My fiancee and I are looking into booking this as our bakery for our wedding. Highly recommend!

I got the mocha cake and the frosting was really thick and didnt have a lot of flavor. The cake was almost non existent and the mocha mouse didnt taste like anything. The 3 coffee bean shaped pieces were disappointing as I was hoping they were chocolate covered coffee beans and they were only pieces of chocolate made to look like coffee beans.

I had a "Vanilla Cheesecake". It was good. I would say its a little on the sloppy side of their presentation (I would give 4 stars for presentation). I would expect a more clean looking design of the personal sized piece but overall taste was good at least. Coffee is good. I like it black. AND, the bathroom was stylish and CLEAN!

The owner, Sean Wojtkowski, is anything but pleasant. I scheduled a cake tasting appointment for my sister and brother in law for their upcoming wedding, and nothing was prepared for them as promised. It was unfortunately a wasted trip for them with zero apology to follow. Wouldnt recommend this place to anyone.

We ordered a cake from here for graduation and it was disappointing. The cake was a white cake with strawberries, chocolate mousse and buttercream frosting which sounds delicious, but was not. The frosting had no flavor and the rest of the cake was OK, but not super. I wouldnt go back here.

I eat here often -- breakfast and lunch. The food is delicious, reasonably priced and I am always treated very well. Ive also ordered birthday cakes and it was WONDERFUL! Also, I have used their party trays -- once right before a holiday and he gave me an awesome deal that wowed us all.

I loooove their croissants! So much that I cant eat them anywhere else anymore. The coffee is really good, too. I like my coffee black, no sugar, and its hard to find coffees that will actually taste good this way when youre out and about.

Not as good as it used to be. My cheese cake which we have been getting for years was stale (old). My wifes was the same. This has happend twice now. Not impressed anymore. The date of our visit 4/3/2016

Eat there frequently. Enjoys salads with a meat choice on them, burgers are great. French fries the best in town as well as the onion rings. Love the chipotle turkey burger!!

This is the best pastry shop in South Bend. Even though I dont live in town anymore, I always try to stop in when I visit to eat the delicious baked goods. Yum!
