Always really good quality work. I like B&c engines because their prices are reasonable and they are attentive to customers needs. Many shops in Indianapolis care much more about their business connections with auto garages and as a result neglect the small guy slash weekend engine builder. I had a bad experience with a female answering the phones on one occasion. I asked a question about sbc head design and bolt hole position. Her response was that she didnt know but she though both heads were the same as far as bolt pattern. I asked if there was anyone at the shop who might know for sure if that was in fact the case because i was about to buy heads based on the information. So she set the phone down without telling me what was going on. Next thing I heard was her mocking me as if she didnt know I could hear her in a very condicending and unprofessional manner. If she didnt know the answer I would have been much more happy with a definitive "I dont know" rather than an answer which left her free from accountability. I dont doubt she knows a thing or two about engines but she certainly cant handle customers in a professional manner. She potentially will take away volume from her awesome machinist in the back. She may even be the owner, Im not sure but she certainly isnt good for a business whose been around for 50+ years. I feel bad for the guys who have to work for her/with her. The only significant and hopefully embarrising blemish on this otherwise great engine establishment.
