I LOVE jewelry and am a stickler about customer service!! I had visited JEM jewellers a couple of time, both with and without purchasing and each time felt that when I ventured in, that I was welcomed and important to their clientele. A few years ago when my Grandmother passed away, my mother had gone through her ENORMOUS amount of jewelry she collected to discern what was what. She later asked me if there was a place that I thought she could take it to that would tell her what was real, how much was it worth, etc. I immediately thought of JEM. They went through every piece of jewelry to figure out what she had. They treated my mom and I as if we had known them for years and was engaged throughout the process, and even taught us a little about metals!!! In the end my mother had a bag that she thought was all fake stuff, but being as thorough as they are, they found one of my Grandmothers wedding rings!! Jan was so thoughtful in suggesting to use the diamonds and create a wonderful pendant for me. Now I have my Grandmother with me everyday. If you want a place that will treat you like a friend and not just a customer, if you want to go to a place that thrives on having great customer service, and providing and creating unique individual pieces??? Then what are you waiting for....visit JEM Jewellers!!!

Jan , William, and Cyndi did a phenomenal job in working with my husband and me to create a new wedding set for our 10-year anniversary. I wanted something personal and unique, and I wanted to use all of my stones from my original setting. I was looking for a very specific vintage style (and working within a budget), and Jan worked tirelessly to ensure we were happy with the result. She listened to everything I said, and together with William, they created my custom set that absolutely exceeded my expectations. It was clear from the beginning that they have a true passion for what they do and that their goal is complete customer satisfaction. I am proud to wear my rings, and I frequently have complete strangers tell me how beautiful they are. As an aside, I dont usually consider a jewelry store to be a particularly kid-friendly place, but on the occasions when we brought our young children (6&8) along, Jan and crew were more than accommodating and always shared chocolate and other goodies! I will be forever thankful that we wandered into her store early last year.

"Customer First" isnt just a slogan to Jan but is exhibited each and every time you enter the store, whether offering a free jewelry polish to those that might just be accompanying potential customers entering the store or going above and beyond to find that special diamond for the couple thats about to be married! Jan truly "gets it" and sincerely puts the customers needs ahead of sales by giving outstanding customer service, regardless of whether the customer actually makes a purchase or not. Jan is unselfish, truly cares about people and offers a warm smile to each and every customer that enters her store. Do yourself a favor and visit her store at Clay Terrace in Carmel, Indiana! INCREDIBLE! If you havent gathered from the other comments Jan and her team are absolutely amazing. I recently purchased an engagement ring and my fiance loves loves LOVES it! Guys, if you are like me and are clueless about diamonds, rings, styles, etc. and are worried about what to do, have no fear! Everyone at Jem Jewelers is so kind and considerate. They really take the time to get to know YOU, to make sure you are getting the PERFECT ring. You are sure to get the utmost quality here, no matter what size budget you are working with. They pour their heart and soul into all their work. It truly shows in every interaction (and of course in the finished product!). The quality of service and product that my wife and I received from JEM Jewellers can never be matched. My (now) wife went in for initial questions / gauging what her dream ring would be with the attentive and professional help from Jan Marten. I had the pleasure of working with Jan from JEM Jewellers! She designed my engagement ring and wedding band and I get compliments everywhere I go. She is very knowledgeable and honest, which was great since I dont know the first thing about the four Cs of diamonds. Jan also helped me pick out the most amazing diamond for my best friend when her fiance was ready to propose. She definitely has an eye for beauty and design. As yelpers know, I am not one to dole out 5 star reviews......BUT JEM really deserves it. I am just amazed at the personal attention and quality of her protection and services. Being a male, jewelry is tough :) However, Jan and her staff have helped me every steps of the way and in return I have gotten glowing returns from wife. If things are not perfect, JEM really steps up and ensures that it is. Isnt satisfied with anything less, which is rare in most business these days (from my experience of course). Anyways, I hope all reading this gives JEM a chance, they will not be disappointed!

Shopping at JEM Jewellers has been a wonderful experience. The shop is beautiful and everyone makes you feel so welcome and appreciated. They do everythimg from buying gold, to selling gorgeous jewelry, and designing and making very special custom jewelry pieces. Jan, the owner, is very creative and customer focused, and creates a professional, yet fun environment in her store. I have received more compliments than I can count about the custom ring that Jan designed for me. Also, the store is easy to get to on the main street of Clay Terrace. Just look for the purple awning.
