There was the "must have" item that no other craft stores had. I had purchased a rotary paper trimmer at the fabric store, but they didnt have the scoring blade that I needed. The same product line was sold at one guys craft store, but they didnt have the blade I needed and neither did that same store on the other side of town. As a matter of fact, they didnt even carry that product line! I searched online and found Hobby Lobby. I called the store and was given good information that lead me to the store less than an hour later to get that "must have" item. The price was great too! I was able to finish making my product sample in time to deliver to my customer by the promised date. The huge array of items that this store carries is mind blowing. If you cant find it at the fabric store or at that guys arts and craft store, then your best bet is the Lobby. As a matter of fact, I recommend that you skip the first two and go to the Lobby! I am new to Hobby Lobby and I really like the store but whatever you do, do not ask an employee for help. Holy cow, every employee that I ran into, they could not be ruder. Then I go to check out and there are 2 cashiers. One is helping 2 other customers on line and the other is standing there talking to her friends. I went to the line where the cashier that was working was, when it was just about my turn, the other girl was finished talking with her friends and then called me over to her register. The ONLY nice person in the store was the cashier that was originally working, she came over to help me with my cart. Could not have been sweeter. Management needs to put their employees in a training class showing them that customers come first!!!!!

Saturday, 2:00 p.m. Feb 25 2010. The EMBATTLED SERVICE PERSON IN THE FRAMING DEPT was trying to do his best with patience, skill and empathy...but he was totally alone ...surrounded by 5 to 10 customers needing complex expert assistance. I just need to have the glass replaced...I left after 15 minutes reflecting on how I would fire the manager if it were my store...he saved $80 in labor cost but lost HUNDREDS in loyal customers !!!!

Could not find item, so went to ask store employee but could not find a free employee for several minutes. Ended up the needed item was out of stock. Next visit was a Sunday afternoon about 1:00pm, wasted trip and gas the store was closed. Luckily there was a Michaels across the street. Dont waste your time.

Worst customer service Ive ever experienced. Both workers I talked to were extremely rude and very unhelpful. They also tried to tell me the fabric I had was only half of what the sign said the discount was. They need to hire experienced help.

Great selection of items, plus they always have sales. Worst part - getting into the store and avoiding being ran over by cars speeding through. Also, I dont like that they manually key in all of the prices at the registers.

Good store. Lots to choose from concerning arts and crafts. BIG store. Complaint is that the checkout lines always seem crowded. No computerized scanning system. Very old school and slow.

I love this place! They always have a great selection and sometimes have sales even up to 80 or 90% off! The staff is helpful as well which is always a plus.
