I have never posted a bad review. I typically enjoy giving 5 star reviews. But when it comes to the Hoover Hobby Lobby, theyre getting a 1 star review from me. Ive shopped at this location several times and some of the ladies at the front are incredibly rude. Especially to people who have returns. They refuse to provide the level of customer service that every other Hobby Lobby (that Ive visited) provides and that, I believe, Hobby Lobby as a company wants to provide. I am a very reasonable personal but these ladies are very condescending. Everytime Ive been in there Ive heard them acting this way to other customers, today they were rude to me so I chose to not purchase my other items, drove down the street to Micheals to buy the same items. Ive been going to the 280 Inverness store for many many years and those folks are always so kind and upbeat. Hobby Lobby is my absolute favorite store but the Hoover store will never get my business again.

I have mixed reviews. I usually enjoy my hobby lobby experience. The cashiers have always been extremely helpful and kind when checking out. However, last week I wanted to put some prints into frames for my husband as a gift and the man working in the frame department was very rude and pushy. He acted like I needed to hurry up and make a selection, he then told me what he liked and proceeded with putting the prints into the frames. When I mentioned that I really didnt like it and I even apologized several times he ignored me and put them into the frames anyway. I felt very uncomfortable and spoke to a manager who told me, I could either by them or back there and ask for other frames, well I didnt feel comfortable going to the back again to deal with that guy so I left with my prints in frames that are now just sitting under my bed because I dont even know what to do with them.

I will never return and I mean it this time. Nearly every time in the last 6 months that I have been to this location the employees have been rude to me. When I ask for help finding something they act as if Im putting them out. Two weeks ago one of the cashiers, "Mary" rolled her eyes at me before a word even came out of my mouth then glared at me until I left although I was polite to her during the entire exchange. I understand that everyone has their days, but she was rude to me again today, so thats it for me. I would expect a company that prides itself on being a Christian organization to hire people who at least treat their customers with respect. I will be traveling the extra distance to Jo-Anns from now on, where EVERYONE is always polite and appreciates my business. Went in and bought some modeling supplies and frames. Cashier was distracted by her own conversation that she didnt put the modeling supplies in the bag with my other stuff. We left and got home only to notice it was not in the bag. Immediately called the store to ask if it was there and if I could come get it. They had JUST closed and I wouldve only been a few minutes away. Young lady on the phone told me to come back tomorrow morning that no one would wait. They couldnt wait a couple minutes to correct a mistake they made? Didnt feel like my business was appreciated. Probably go to the Michaels down the street as theyre much better and more understanding. Cheaper price doesnt mean cheapest customer service Sophia....

My mother lives just outside of Hoover & I visited her last week. She needed a couple of things framed and we stopped in to the Hobby Lobby on Montgomery Highway. Good lord, what idiots these people were! Their framing skills were limited and they talked a bit of trash about other frame stores in town. Isnt this a Christian company? Needless to say, my mother will not be going back and will be taking her pictures and craft business elsewhere. They definitely do not employ professionals.

I am lets face Im an artist who has been hiding not because Im not a good artist but because of the expense of framing to put my work in shows. I have plenty of frames glass etc but putting it all together to enter a show was cost preventive; therefore I stopped. Hobby Lobby for a nominal fee will put the art in a frame and glass you bring in. That is so freeing. I am entering four pieces in an upcoming show in Tallassee June 9. Come see!

The store is old and the stock is terrible. This store might as well be for home decorating. If you want a throw pillow or picture frame for your home, this place has it, but Ive never found any of the hobby supplies here I need.

Same as every hobby lobby. Little bit of everything for crafting, sewing, etc. Service and check out can be a bit slow at times with their outdated point of sale system that requires literally everything be entered by hand.

The best!! Fantastic. Great service. There is a good collection of bowls and the prices are also not so high. Good store. I got all my kitchen products from here. I just wanted to say thanks for all the wonderful service.
