First delivery the table was cracked and the mattress had a hole in it. The delivery man said he reported it to dispatch and they would call tomorrow to set up a switch out. 3 days later no call so I called art van. Of course there was nothing reported as being damaged so they wanted to send out an inspector in 2 weeks to determine if I was at fault. I had written on the sheet I signed for delivery the damages and luckily they were able to find that and agreed to re-deliver non damaged items. Throughout this process I had to continuously call them, I did not get calls back from managers to follow up as promised. We were/are still waiting on a sectional and 2 accent chairs. Again, no call to inform us they would not be delivered on time or would be later than promised. I called and was transferred to my sales rep who said he would have a manager call the manufacturer because it is already a week longer than it should have been. Again, no call back like promised. At this point we are nearly 2 weeks past promised delivery going into super bowl Sunday. Let me tell you how excited we are to not have seating for our guests as we were promised by Art Van. Honestly, the portion of our order (once re-delivered) that we have received we like. The staff just passes the problem on and says what ever is necessary to get you off the phone. They do not ever call back as promised and drag their feet to fix the issue. Customer service needs to change at this location.

I purchased several things from here including a solid wood, king sized platform bed, recliner and standing jewelry case with a mirror. I spent over $2,000. The bed was not put together properly and the first night our mattress fell through onto the floor. Thank Goodness our small dogs werent under the bed when it happened cause they like to hide under there. When we checked out the slats on the platform of the bed only 2 boards were screwed in...are you kidding me. We tipped those guys $20 thinking they did a great job. This was beyond just taking short cuts. We called immediately the next day and we had to wait 2 WEEKS for the installers to come and bring more screws to properly finish putting the bed together. Not even 8 weeks after all this our recliner broke from the side of the arm. Its very wobbly and pulls away from the rest of the couch. We didnt even bother to call to complain because we just knew wed never buy from here again. The standing jewelry case/mirror has held up the best and that is even cracking from the bottom and the legs are wobbly. I see with the other reviews that management has only responded to the 5 star reviews. NOTE TO MANAGEMENT...Hospitality goes a long way. You should at least address some of the complaints on here cause your lack thereof makes you look very bad. NOTE TO CONSUMERS... If you want good quality furniture for a decent price go to Darvins right down the street.

I should have read the other reviews before purchasing our new master bedroom set and stayed away. The purchase was easy but the delivery was a disaster. They failed to deliver the first time without calling us to notify. I had to call. The second attempt a week later was 3 hours late and they delivered at 8pm on a Saturday. No one from art van ever initiated a call but I had to call each time they were late. I understand things happen but no calls is unacceptable. To fail at a second delivery when we rearranged another Saturday, is also unacceptable. Furthermore, our salesperson was the only one that seemed to care. He had to chase around management to work out a resolution and he called me for updates after he heard about the first disaster. Managers never returned calls as promised. In the end, we only received a refund of $135 for the delivery charge of a $3K purchase. If this was handled differently with communication we would have gladly paid the delivery charge. Time is very valuable to us. And this was a waste of our time (2 Saturdays lost waiting around) and they lost all of future business. If we did not feel our salesperson was working hard for us, we would have canceled. We liked the furniture and did not feel he should lose his commission due to someone elses incompetence. However, we will be heading elsewhere to furnish the rest of our new house.

I would give it 0 stars if it would let me. Made a purchase on 3/6/16, of a sectional living room set, buffet, and coat rack. Coat rack and buffet were delivered within 2 weeks, buffet was damaged. They said they would order replacement piece. I receive the section 6 weeks later and they are the wrong pieces. Call the store and they said they would call back but never do, finally call and place new order. It was just delivered today and wrong again, COMPLETELY DIFFERENT COLOR. Oh and the buffet heard from them 3 weeks ago they discontinued the piece and no replacement pieces available but that they would exchange it for the floor model. Of course I asked for a discount because it would be the floor model, we have been going back and fourth because they can never give me a satisfactory discount, well they let me know this week they SOLD the in store model and said I should go look in the store for another piece to replace it. I just called the store for a full refund because I am fed up with this whole situation, kept me on hold forever and are trying to find excuses of not refunding full amount. THEY SAID THEY WOULD CALL ME BACK. They have wasted so much of my time. Also this was a $3340 purchase cash, you would think they would provide better service.

DO NOT BUY FROM HERE! MANAGER HAS HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! NO SERVICE RECOVERY AT ALL! - I am not a person to write negative reviews, but I am just appalled at the customer service I had received via phone. I had purchased furniture in Monday being told that it would be delivered on Friday. I work 12 hour shifts and took off work on Friday to be at home for delivery. While at work the day before delivery, I received a call saying it was ready for delivery. By the time I got home from work the store was closed and was unable to call back. Called the day of delivery asking what time it would be available. The "manager" said there is no way it can be delivered because the furniture is in Michigan. I had told them that when purchased they told us Friday for delivery and I TOOK OFF WORK. She BLAMED ME for not calling them back right away! Not sorry that I have to work to pay for the furniture I am buying from you! She had terrible customer service and was trying to argue with us back. Do not tell me the day of purchase that it is going to be delivered in a certain day and not even have be in the same state!!!!!! I ended up canceling my order and will be ordering somewhere else!

I bought a recliner, couch and love seat on sale for $3400 out the door. Recliner was delivered broken! Outer seat cushions on couch and love seat are pushing out on sides. There is nothing on sides to support cushions so they break down. One arm on love seat keeps collapsing on the top, repairman said it was a factory defect. Found out that they put padding on top of cardboard on the arms of love seat and couch with no support in the middle of arm. Service Rep. said your not suppose to put pressure on arms. I said then how do you get up? They are ordering four new cushions. Repairman is coming out for third time. I am 68 years old and have never had an issue with any other furniture purchase in my life. I expected a far better quality product then I received. Since I made my purchase just over a year(5 days) before I requested service, Art Van says I am stuck with it. I had purchased the five year extended warranty, so I didnt call service right away because I wanted to see what else was going to go wrong, plus I had quintuple bypass surgery at the time.
