Its a Jewel, so its nothing spectacular, and items that are not on sale can be slightly pricey, however, its my favorite among grocery stores that are near where I live. We typically stop here to pick up a specific item or items, when its not worth the time to make the trip to our usual grocery store, the Marianos in Oak Lawn. The produce selection is usually pretty decent. We dont usually buy meats or seafood from a Jewel, but instead pick up staples when running short, or we forgot something during the weekly grocery shopping run.

The staff is always polite and helpful. The store is always well stocked. The sales are REAL sales, not just a dime off. They have plenty of electric carts for handicap folks. They will even give you a shopper to assist you if your in a cart. So if you say break your foot, this is the place to shop! Pharmacy staff is more then willing to help with over the counter medications. Finding them and giving helpful advice.

Price is king, and thats why I choose Jewel. They keep their prices competitive with other nearby grocery stores. The bakery needs some help, as with any chain store they seem to sacrifice quality for quantity. Jewel use to do it right, but corporate took over and started using low quality for profit. Everything else about the store is good. At least I can still fine excellent verity of goods there.

Probably where I shop the most - because of convenience. Prices tend to be high, but the selection is decent. Typical older grocery store with none of the more modern features (eatery, etc.) Swapped owners four times in the past 15 years. The newest ones modernized the registers and removed the self-checkouts.

Jewel 87th Ridgeland always very pleasant workers. They have talk to you about how you are d oing. I have a hard time getting around they ask if need help to the car I always go there is dont kn ow what I would do with out that store kim williams

frozen guy whose been there for years wont stop talking to ppl while theyre trying to shop and suggests actually terrible icecream brands. deli staf is super rude and abrupt. cashiers are gossipy. been my neighborhood jewels for years.

I hate this location! Most of the employees are very rude & Im getting real tired of it. If you dont like working with the public, youre in the wrong business! Its not all Jewels, just this one. Work on getting them to be FRIENDLY!

Been shopping here 40 years. Nice place, been remodeled and enlarged several times over the years. Other reviews complain about the prices, but its all in one place and close to home. Convenience makes it worth it to me.

Terrible jewel...sells spoiled meats to consumers..lumpy sugar,apparently they do not know how to store dry goods properly!! Never have anything in stock you need..dont waste your hard earned money at this store!!
