TCB fixed the car. The hourly rate is reasonable. Thats the end of the positives. The problem is the added a bunch of additional work to the car mid repair. I felt like I was being held hostage. They offered to let me take the car before the job was completed and pay for the service done, even though there estimate I agreed to did not come close to what they were asking to do. Annie at the front does not do a good job or getting a hold of you about anything with your car. I had to call multiple times to check on my car and when ordered parts were in. It took me over an hour to get my Car. I told them I was unhappy with the service because of the additional work and I was going to pay the bill but I would not be coming back. They spent a good hour arguing with me. I just wanted to pay and get out. It took them another 10 minutes to swipe my card. Then my car was buried behind other cars in their ultra small parking lot. It took them another 20 minutes to move the car. This was the worst customer service I have every received at an auto shop.

My wife and I got her most recent vehicle from TCB Auto and we were very happy with the whole experience. We felt that they gave us a fair amount for our trade in and the price of the car we bought for the miles and years was good too. We did think the TCB vehicle had a slight shimy at higher speeds which Todd attributed to the tires and so he gave us in writing a generous deal on 4 new tires. Also, because someone else was interested in the car we went ahead and put down a $200 deposit. We noticed after the sale was done that that amount hadnt been figured into the deal and when we told Annie and Todd about it they wrote us a check right away for that amount. We feel they try their best to give you a fair deal and are honest.

Very nice people. They just got my wife back on the road minutes ago. She got off the interstate for gas and the car went haywire, really sounded like the alternator. They dont normally do service calls, but the owner Todd drove over with a battery pack to get her started and drove the van back to his shop to check it out. The alternator was ok, charged the battery, checked the codes, let the car run on its own for a while and recommended replacing the battery when she gets back in town. They didnt try to ring her up and charged her less then she felt was right. I was over a barrel and they could have easily taken advantage. We live 2 hrs away. I found them online and felt a review was the least I could do to say thanks.

I really like coming to this shop. They took care of my old banger even though I didnt buy it there, and so when I decided to replace that car, I bought from TCB. It is more like going to a "neighborhood shop" than to a big auto service center, yet they are totally informed on all of the latest developments and their work is quality, done on time, and completed at very reasonable rates. They also understand that they are not servicing a clientele that has money to burn and sees their car primarily as a status symbol. Their customers are regular folks who need serviceable transportation for daily living, and they treat these customers with competence and respect. I recommend this shop highly.

Positives: Friendly people, reasonable rates. Negatives: Bought a TransSport from them. 4 months later it blew the engine. They replaced the engine (at an additional cost to me), and after that it continually ate EGR valves. Plus, the AC, which was great before the engine swap, would never hold a charge more than 4 weeks. But they could never find a leak. Considering how fast it was dumping the charge, the leak should have been easily found. Well, I maintained it with proper oil changes and all that, hoping to trade it. It blew the replacement engine within a year. I gave it away. I washed my hands of it and them. Ill not go back.

Im never buying another car from this place again.had my car a total of two months and it already crapped out on me. I paid for them to fix it and it still cramped out on me less than a week of them "fixing" it. There had to be a law against this but Im to stupid to know this. Probably why im getting screwed over this badly

Excellent service! We had our car towed to the shop on Sunday. Monday they were not only able to fit it in to look at it, but also were able to install the new alternator it needed. The labor rate was very reasonable and the office staff was helpful and courteous. Highly Recommended.
