My little brother and mom went in on Wednesday evening (3/22/17) to pick up some dove food after my mom got a call from the store that the dove food she had requested came in. Well, they got to the store, and my little brother, who is 10, went over to the parrot he always goes to that all the customers like to be around because the parrot will crawl on peoples arms and shoulders. And just as my little brother walked up to the parrot, the store employee yelled at him to "That bird doesnt get on anyones arm!". My little brother, who has a profound love and respect for animals and one day hopes to be a biologist, was crushed when she shouted at him like that in front of everyone else in the store. Not only was she rude and overly-confrontational to my little brother, she was also rude to my mom when she went to the counter to ask about the dove food. When my mom went to pay for the dove food, the employee with the bird that "doesnt get on anyones arm" was climbing up the employees arm. My little brother saw that, and still feeling the embarrassment of being yelled at like that, left the store crying. Customer service was non-existent that night. Its a severe disappointment to be treated like that when weve been going there for pet supplies for years. tl;dr -- obscenely rude employee made my little brother feel like crap and ended up making him cry

Very poor management there. My mom got bit my a True Macaws an employee handed to her and no one achowledge or said if she was ok. Everyone ignored the problem even the manager Kim. When my mom told me about the problem the next day I went the following day to speak to the manager. Unfortunately the manager Kim had no knowledge on how to handle a situation when someone gets to hurt. They dont even do accident reports. She lied about being present and not knowing about the problem. I talked to the owner Carol about it and never gave an apology. All he said was that it was my moms fault for getting bitten. The bite wasnt just a usual bite. My mom had to go to the doctor to get it checked since the pain got worse. The manager Kim needs some training and also the employees for the lack of communication. Poor customer service. If you re looking to stop by, please BEWARE BECAUSE these Macaws are let loose.

To start off I will disagree with all the 5 star ratings this location has recieved. They are probably relatives of the owner or employees trying to promote the location. Sadly enough this business has beyond poor customer service. As a result I did not feel welcomed here. Employees dont seem to want to work here and the animals seemed in a unhealthy state. I bought a goldfish from here and it didnt last a week. I went back and brought this attention to the manager named Kim and she stated that the fish died because I didnt buy the proper filter. So I was unable to get a refund or exchange due to that reason. I guess buying local isnt always the way to go.

Purchased a hamster for my granddaughter and the poor little thing died in just 9 days. They wouldnt replace it because there was only a 7 day warranty. Wow! Not trying to sound uncaring but if you purchase a living and breathing thing there and youre unaware that its sick, hopefully it will die before 7 days so that you can replace it or get a refund. Seven lousy days? Really? Sounds to me like theyre trying to sell off sick hampsters in hopes that they will last longer than a week to keep from refunding your money. SAD! I shouldve went to Park pet store down the street

I came here to ask about a type of food my dog should eat as a suggestion and they seemed clueless. Not only did they look clueless, they gave me an attitude for some reason saying to look at the food section. Not a very friendly staff. The Pet supplies store that is a block away is the way to go if you are looking for great customer service.

We always enjoy getting our supplies and sometimes our pets here, too. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. If thry dont have what you need, the offer to order for you. 2 large parrots? Will entertain you at the registers. Great place, great staff!

Enjoy speaking with the guy who deals with the fish. I donated 3 turtles there and the shop is clean and very welcoming. I enjoy the business. Will definitely shop here besides going to petco.

Love this place. I always get my rabbits food from here lose for a good price and I get my hay for a good price compared to pet smart. They also cut my rabbits nails which is convenient.

Clean store. Friendly staff. Quality dog food brands you can not find at big box stores. Staff had knowledge about the animals and their needs.
