UPDATE** I changed my rating to 1 star. I wish they had a negative rating! I have only had the mini van for 6 months and my transmission is out!! That o2 sensor that made my check engine light go on? Wasnt an o2 sensor at all and upon inspection from my mechanic he could tell they had recently replaced that in an attempt to fix the problem and reset the light either without first insuring that fixed the problem or knowingly to mislead the buyer into purchasing the car knowing it was only a matter of time before the light came back on (hopefully for them after someone bought it.) I am now a single working mom with 4 kids that start school today with no way to work.. no way to get my kids to and from and in a very bad place financially wise to where this has left me with NO OPTIONS! I purchased a mini van from here a few weeks ago and there is pros and cons.. They are a small little place.. They are very polite and they dont hound you like other dealers.. They will just give you the keys and let you take your time to look at the car your self. If your looking for a lower priced used car and your on a budget this is the place to go. They are fair and although the cars are already priced competitively they are willing to consider offers. I will say this however.. I think they should take the time to fix there lot (dont wear nice shoes lol ) do a little better job cleaning the inside of the cars they are trying to sell (one of the cars I looked at smelled like cat and cat urine) and put a little time into making sure the cars are in ready to go condition .. The car I purchased needed an oil change immediately (the light was on for the test drive and when I got it changed they said it was BLACK and hadnt been changed in a while) but 3 hours after getting the car the check engine light came on. It needs a $30 O2 censor which would of been an easy fix on there part and would of made me felt better about my purchase from them. Other then that though so far I like the van and for the price I paid I am content.

I give them three stars. They were alright. I just recently bought a car from here. I was glad they werent pushy, they didnt mind me asking for keys to three different cars to test drive them. I really liked the prices and the girl named Amber. To be honest, if she didnt work there, I wouldnt of bought the car from them. The owner is actually the person who rubbed me the wrong way. She gave me and my father so much attitude when we were talking about PURCHASING the car. It had a broken radiator and we asked if we could have a few hundred off since I would have to go get it fixed. She was basically appalled that we asked that. She said that most people who buy from here are mechanics and can fix cars themselves so theres really nothing I can do. She was so short and bluntly said I cant do that because then Im not making only $500 off of this car. Right, okay. I went back the next day and got the car. Consumers Credit Union in Volo financed me. The girl, Amber, helped us with the purchase and went very smoothly. It was stress-free and she told me everything I needed to know. She got my temporary plates put on for me, they pulled it up front and it was nice and clean. Amber also got me a hundred dollars off of the car which was enough to buy a new radiator for the car. Like I said, if it wasnt for her, I wouldve went some where else.

Have had my car for a little over a month and runs great! Saw another reviewer say they had their car 6 months and then trans went out after their mechanic looked over the car... I would just like to point out that the friendly people at Retek Auto will allow you to have the car/truck checked out as long as it takes a reasonable amount of time to do that. When you buy used, you have to do your homework. Cant blame the dealership for things like that. If they knew it had a bad trans and sold the car that is one thing, but that ladys entire post was hearsay and I really dislike when people place blame on the internet to businesses when its their own fault for not doing their own research. Edit: I would like to also include that if the light and problems were off for 6 months of driving then chances are their mechanic was full of garbage to begin with. Usually takes only a few key turns for check engine lights to come back on if they have been recently reset. (also I test drove plenty that had check engine lights on, so hard to believe they wouldnt have also cleared those codes as well, why just this van?) Moral of Story, dont blame your problems on other people. Good day :D

I’m looking to replace my 1990 F350 Extended cab. It’s now got 135k miles on it I’m sure. I contacted Retek Auto Sales via email about a car they have for sale and I received a very nice and professional reply. Much nicer than replys I’ve gotten from the Ford dealerships in the area. I’m going to check it out this week and bring my mechanic with me to give it a once over. I’m looking for something dependable that can seat everyone comfortably and be a work horse. If everything checks out I’ll buy it that day if the dealership and I can agree on a price. Thank you so much for your nice and respectful reply with no harassing me about what I can afford sending me 19 emails since I didn’t respond right away. Being courteous goes a long way. As another reviewer mentioned, go on a dry day. Really, my only complaint with this place is the gravel and dirt lot which results in mud and puddles on rainy days. The staff is very nice and will gladly pull vehicles out for you though. The selection is pretty good with a wide range of prices. Be sure to go on a test drive, ideally have a mechanic check the car over before buying. I was in a pinch when my old car died, stopped by here and was able to find something that runs great and got it for a great price. Very happy in the end.

Very good little dealership with good selection of cars. Honest which is a lot to say about car sales. Met with Ms. Retek and Samantha. Both were very helpful and no pressure. Yes I did buy a car and quite satisfied with the deal. Would I buy again? Definitely! I love cars and own very many. I drive them a bit and then go on to the next one. Price is very reasonable and will keep them as a favorite on my computer when looking. Thanks again.

I love driving my new Honda Accord from Retek Auto. I love all the features it has, and I am extremely picky. This was the first big investment I have had in my life and I am sure they thought I was being overly thorough by asking every question on the books. In the end though, when they showed me this car this is the one I fell in love with. My experience at Retek Auto was nothing short of amazing.
