retail side never had a problem granted I just bought a house here so my experience with this location is limited, I took my truck in for a full service full synthetic oil change and a tire rotation, I asked for an air filter (they never did) told me my air cleaner box was jammed shut, funny i bought the air filter from them and put it in the parking lot...jammed huh? I asked for new wipers (again never replaced). Mind you I had my 1 year old son with me the entire time we shopped we came back i payed for it started it up kicked on the AC loaded my son up i get in ABS light and BRAKE light both on blinking, mind you they were not on when i brought it in, I unload my son leave it running walk back inside the older gentleman behind the counter (who unmistakeably hates his job and gives off this your wasting my time vibe) walks in the back to retrieve this young kid who has zero...ZERO customer service skills to sit in my drivers seat and say.."Yup, nothing we did." and walked away. I make my way back into the service area 1 year old in tow request to speak to a manager, 20 minutes go by nothing...at this point all workers now are hiding in the bay area avoiding me like the plague..I push the doorbell on the counter every 5 mins thereafter finally the guy who hates his job comes back out and I must demand him to find a manager NOW!! A manager appears finally I said Ive been waiting well over 45 mins at this point for a manager, her response i just got the call....Holy goodness i am livid...she is able to do zero for me she calls another manager again zero done, I made 2 requests that day after those lights appeared on my dash, 1. Why was it not caught during the oil change and tire rotation, and is it safe to drive...I requested them to put it back up in the air, nope nothing....ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS WHATSOEVER!!!! listen i know things happen in life.. I was not placing blame i was making sure i could get my child home safely...they never offered me a phone to call a cab, or a tow truck or even to look up those for me...ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS...I had to have the truck towed to a neighborhood shop...found out a brake line blew...not walmarts fault things happen...but how they handled it HORRIBLE simple questions i asked where taken as hostile actions/threats of me demanding repair whats even worse about this situation I called 1800walmart to explain I wanted my oil change refunded for services that obviously were not done, and for the experience I had...I called them and they said the store manager from the lockport store will call me in 72 hours....yea still waiting on that call over a week later...called back the number again now the said some marketing manager will call me within 72 hours lets see how that goes ill write another review with the outcome....STAY AWAY THEY NEED TO RE-TRAIN/ RE-STRUCTURE, and most of all need to train managers in Customer Service...--Side note they took so many pictures of the parking lot and stains in the parking lot as they were preparing for me to blame them for it..

the tire and lube center is a complete joke i went there to switch out my aluminum rims to my stock steel one as i am getting ready to sell my car. everything seemed fine at first. i sat at one of the benches they have by the rear door as i did not need to get anything from the store. the lady that was working (Brenda) kept complaining how hard it was to quit caffeine drinks and how she has such a huge headache and kept answering the phone saying "yeah, tire and lube" or just "yeah?!" i got my car back and noticed it was vibrating very badly at 40 mph because they probably did not balance a wheel correctly. i went right back and the guy tome me that i must have a bad wheel bearing or need a new axle because he insisted that the wheel was balanced. IT DID NOT DO THIS BEFORE I BROUGHT IT IN. as i was waiting for him to check it again, Brenda told me that im going to have to wait a long time because shes going on lunch and she is too upset to deal with people. ALSO as i was standing there they told a lady that was in front of me that they could not give her an oil change because the people who did it last time forced and cross threaded the drain plug in the oil pan but she had a receipt from the last time it was changed and it was from the same people and place. the "mechanic" said youre going to have to go to someone way higher than me because im just the "mechanic" they just said they will not change the oil because they do not want to get in trouble if the drain plug completely messes up the threads on the oil pan and leaks oil. they have you sign so many waivers and documents before they preform any service because they know they do a crappy job and they have gotten sued so many times because they just do not care i had to print my name twice and sign three different papers to get my rims changed and now im going to have to go to a different mechanic to fix this problem DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE!!!!!!!

When going in to a Walmart, you expect the typical terrible Walmart customer service. This Walmart, however, is a breath of fresh air compared to those though! They go above and beyond to offer only the highest level of mind-numbing egregious service. I mean it could be considered world class horrific service! Upon being the recipient of this service it left me truely stunned and speechless. So i just wanted to extend my gratitude and say, "Bravo Walmart!". You have, once again, set a standard that few other big box retailers will be able to acheive. Even though, from the looks of it, they all strive to. May this review serve as a token of not only my appreciation for your efforts to watch the world burn, but also of my condolences for a time gone by where people voted with there wallets and a business with customer service like yours would not and could not survive. Unfortunately, that era is dead.. except for a few of us who hold strong to it. So let me end by saying that my vote is officially cast.

1- Cant reach customer service. They dont answer the phone AT ALL. Was told by employees they have no one waiting & dont understand why they dont pick up the phone. Told to drive over to settle my issue. So, does anyone get written up or fired? Should! 2- Ive tried to purchase an open package of organic flea & tic drops off their clearance rack for a couple of months now in the 75¢ rack. At checkout I have to wait for the same response, they want me to pay $7! And say it was misplaced there! Not! Lazy people who dont know whats up & dont tag old product. 3- Customer Service is horrific! Entire staff needs real training! 4- Love the clicks that stand around to chit chat & when you ask for help they act like you bothered them. Tsk tsk...

I go out of my way to go to this Wal-mart! The staff is always friendly and it is in a good neighborhood. I live closer to the Joliet Wal-mart on Jefferson St however I try to avoid going there. Everytime I go there someone is stealing or getting arrested(creepy). Anyways, luckily this Wal-mart is not too far out of the way. Also, I like this location because the layout makes sense. Everytime I had an issue they have resolved it on the spot. Staff is very friendly and helpful. I get associates there who ask me always if I need help when I come close to them. Other Wal-mart I have been in the associates avoid you like the black plague.
