We purchased a hot tub back in May 2017 from American Sale in Lake Zurich. We were on the market for a hot tub for about six months prior to finally buying. We went to every relevant store within a 50 mile radius to shop for a hot tub. We worked with a variety of Sales Associates at these various places of business. Finally, we met Scott Cook at American Sale. What a breath of fresh air! He was not just trying to sell us a hot tub, he was trying to educate us and really get an understanding of our needs and wants. We appreciated this about him. He was patient and listened well. He was not pushy at all, and he knew the hot tub market and brands backwards and forwards. It was amazing. He understood the technical piece of how hot tubs operate, the maintenance, etc. We ended up getting the Hot Springs Grandee hot tub. It took about 5 weeks because it was a special order since we wanted a specific color. We knew this up front. Once it arrived at their facility, American Sale called and asked for a delivery date that would work for us. They delivered it on time, and there were four guys who set it up. It was fantastic. After the hot tub was delivered, I called Scott because I had a few questions (this was our first hot tub ever). He walked me through a couple things over the phone, but soon realized that not all the starter items were delivered. He actually left his office and drove 25 minutes to my house to drop off the remaining supplies! It was incredible. He also walked me though how to us the hot tub in detail. About one month after owning the hot tub, I had a different question and he walked me through exactly what to do over the phone. Scott REALLY knows his stuff. I would absolutely recommend purchasing from American Sale. Ask for Scott Cook. He is definitely one of the best Sales Associates I have ever encounter (Although, I think he is a manager!). By the way, we LOVE the hot tub! Best purchase ever! Thank you!

I love this store!! We just recently purchased a beautiful new pool and I couldnt be happier. We got a great deal on the pool and our installers were awesome!! Not long after our pool was installed we ran into a bit of a disappointing snag when our hoses started to leak...a lot!! I called customer service who eventually created a work order for replacement (but not without a struggle I must say) to have new hoses installed but not knowing how long that might take, I started to worry about not being able to circulate the water for awhile. Plus, we wanted to swim in our new pool! So, I went into the Lake Zurich store and was immediately greeted by both Megan and Cassie. Im very familiar with Megan as she has helped me many, many times before. She is wonderful! During this particular visit, Cassie helped me. I explained to her what our problems were and I am beyond impressed and thankful at how quickly and professionally she handled the issue. Not only did she get me the new hoses I needed for our pool, but she also hand delivered them to my house just hours later AND installed them for me!!! I could never put into words how much we appreciate her going WAY above and beyond the call of duty to rectify a disappointing situation and make a happy customer even happier!!! She is the best! My faith in great customer service has been restored! Thank you again, Cassie!!!!

I went to the store looking for a pool. i met a guy named JW. he is the pool sales manager. i asked for a online price match. he said i need a day or 2 to get it approved. During this time of waiting my mother in law was admitted into the hospital which delayed things by about a week. During this week we played phone tag. partly due to JW not having voice mail. he had left me a msg that he got the approval. Once i spoke to him the online sale price had increased by about $110. Because of this, JW would no longer match the original price even though i had to wait on him. I feel that they took advantage of me big time. so it has ended ok. the online price now dropped and i went back to the store and they gave me the deal. I got the pool and they stuck with their policy. I strongly urge anyone looking for a price match to get it in writing, because as of right now, when the online price changes, that is what they will go with.

If you want a pool, please rethink going here. In the store they will promise you the moon by people that have nothing to do with the installation, just wanting you to sign the papers. However, I am still waiting for my pool to be finished after 2 months. They have been sending 2 men, who are the hardest workers and hopefully paid well, when they should be sending a crew. So, it takes these 2 men a week to do what a crew can get done in a day (or two). Sometimes no one shows up for days. Even weeks went by with no one showing up. I was promised 10 days ago by John, the general manager of pools, that the pool would be done by today. Well, if they keep sending 2 guys, my guess is another 4 weeks from today. I will post again to let you know the finish date because I am not kidding about how they lead a person on. I wonder if the president, Bob Jones, knows what is going on.

We went to the Lake Zurich American Sale to look for a patio set. I had specific needs in mind - a dining set and a conversation set in the same style preferably. We walked in and everyone was extremely welcoming and friendly. I was helped by a very nice and knowledgeable sales member named Sheryl. She brought me to a 10 piece patio set that included a rectangular patio table with 4 chairs and 2 conversation chairs with ottomans and an end table. It was priced extremely well too! Below our budget for sure. They scheduled the delivery for the day we needed, which is about a week and a half away. They offered white glove delivery service for only $99 to save my husband the trouble of putting it all together - thats a steal to me! They even paid our sales tax for us! Overall, the store was great. Highly recommend going there for patio or any other outdoor entertaining needs.

I recently purchased a gazebo from American sale and with a few problems initially Cassandra solved my issues and made sure I walked away as a very happy customer. Being in retail is a difficult job dealing with the public but Cassandra really understands what it means to take care of the customer. The deal was great, the service was 5 star and the install and delivery was excellent. I would recommend this store to my friends anytime. Make sure you ask for Cassandra if you are in the Lake Zurich area. Fred
