I dont remember who did my tattoo, but Id go back in a heartbeat to get more. The tattoo artists were very friendly, knowledgeable, and extremely talented. Also, I guess my tattoo was done in a different kind of ink than normal ink -- it doesnt fade as fast, and I hardly had to take care of it at all. The ONLY reason that this place didnt get 5 stars was because I waited 5 HOURS to get my tattoo (not like it took 5 hours to get it, but we literally waited 5 hours in a store that was apparently "accepting walk-ins"), because the guy at the front skipped over our names on the wait list... He didnt even realize we were sitting up in the front because he was derping around. They ended up taking a bunch of people before us before we even got seen, so that was a huge waste of my time. But, like I said, the tattoo was AMAZING and the quality was amazing. The tattoo artists were awesome. Just need a new dude up at the front who cares about customers.

i have never gotten a tattoo here, but i have gotten two piercings. i got my nose and industrial done here, both by rory. he was awesome. when i got my industrial, he was very careful, took his time to make sure the placement and angle was exactly right and made me very comfortable. a couple days after i got it done, it got hit hard by accident and it bled everywhere and i didnt know what to do, so i called the shop and rory talked me through how to stop the bleeding and even gave me his cell number so i could call him after he got off work if i had more problems. everyone is always super nice at tatu tattoo and after that incident my industrial healed great and so did my nose. this shop is a little more pricey than some others, but its worth it for the customer service and the quality of work. i bring all my friends here!

My wife and I stopped in to have some work done. The shop is very laid back and the staff is very friendly and professional. Great environment. Su Houston and Marci were our artists. Marci worked with my wife and did an excellent job helping her with her design and getting it in place. Su worked with me and was awesome as well. They were receptive to our designs and took the time to make sure they were exactly what we wanted and where we wanted. Their work was outstanding. We will definitely be going back to this shop to see Marci and Su. If you are getting your first tattoo or looking for a shop to do some work. Tatu Tattoo is the place to go.

My boyfriend and I both went to Tatu Tattoo for work and the staff was knowledgable and very friendly. My tattoo was done by Marcy, and she is one awesome chick! She made the experience comfortable. The entire shop was also extremely sterile with their work. Marcys personality was also very friendly and down to earth. I have never felt more at ease with an artist. The prices were reasonable and the quality of work and overall experience was fantastic. I would highly recommend this shop. I am actually going back to get another piece finished with her in sessions. I have worked with other artists and shops before, and this was by far my best experience.

I had to write a 5 star review to let everyone know what a great job Ricardo Compean did on my tattoos. The first tattoo he did for me was one I made up on my own. Ricardo was able to understand all the details and also come up with his own ideas, It came out better than I could explain. I liked it so much, I went back two more times to have my old tattoos redone, and now they look way better then when they were first done about 30 years ago. The prices are very reasonable also. Not only do I highly recommend Tatu Tattoo, you must have Ricardo Compean do yours. He is truly an artist and could not be any nicer.

I got my first tattoo done here by Marci, and it was a fantastic experience. It was a custom tattoo, and I provided her with lots of photos for inspiration. In the consultation she was very thorough and detailed to make sure she knew we were on the same page. She designed something that was exactly in line with what I wanted, but added her own creative input to make it unique from other designs out there. Getting the tattoo was a very enjoyable experience, and all the staff was very friendly.

Both me and my wife have gone here and had tattoos done by Erik and Frog two years ago. Both men were great at their job no question. We returned to get more work done and my wifes tattoo took almost seven hours to complete,its wasnt that extreme. when i talked to the girls about getting a tattoo they were rude and unprofessional, it ruined my day and Im going to another shop for my tattoo Erik needs to snap this place back into shape

I went to Tatu Tattoo for a navel piercing. I have 13 other piercings that were done at other studios and Juan Castro is hands down the best piercer I have ever gone to. He was extremely knowledgeable (is APP certified) and down to earth. Ive never felt more comfortable with a piercer. As well, the studio is extremely concerned with cleanliness and the health of their customers. I would definitely go back for any of my piercing needs.

I got a simple tragus piercing here, and I was beyond impressed. Rory was my piercer, and he was very laid back, yet professional. Never have I been to a piercing parlor where they were so thorough and professional in explaining each and every step. Rory was super nice and really neat. Ive never felt more confident about getting a piercing done! Between the fair pricing and great experience, I highly recommend this place.

I visited Chicago last month for a few baseball games, while there I hit Tatu Tattooing to add some ink to my body, I have had a few tattoos before but never have I gotten one that did not need one single bit of touch up. Kennys work was flawless! I have to say, the 1 * reviews found here appear to be negative postings from other parlors because almost everyone of them mention a competitor in their rating. hmm...

I visited this shop on 6/3/2011, it was a Friday and I was taken in right away. I got a female genital piercing with Zoe. She was amazing! She explained the whole thing, she was very nice, calm, and professional. The piercing came out just perfect, and the whole way Zoe made the experience as peaceful and relaxing as she could. If you are think of a piercing...go to Zoe!!!! Cant wait till it heals up. ;)

This place was great. I was hesitant to go here because I only received one recommendation but the employees helped put me at ease and convince me that I was in good hands. My technician was helpful and did a great job. The place was also extremely clean which is always a big thing for me. I would definitely go back again!

I called for information regarding a piercing that Ive been wanting for a while. The man over the phone was very informative and polite and told me everything I needed to know. I changed my mind about getting a surface piercing done due to my career, but I will be going there to get my ears pierced.
