I really love this place. We cook everything from scratch so I typically come here for fresh fruits and vegetables. The prices are great when compared to the high prices of produce at the larger supper markets. They also have a great price on grated cheese. Thats the Italian in me looking for a good deal. Theres a loading zone out front for the store and I can usually find a parking spot. They have a deli counter here and the prices are really affordable. Id like to try the marinated Mexican meat one day. Im sure its amazing.

This place just surprises me every time I walk in--theres always some product I usually travel for that magically appears before my eyes, or some incredibly cheap something of perfectly good quality Im used to paying out of the nose for. Its hard to find Boars Head meats in Chicago--they have pretty much all their offerings. Good organic section. Pita from great bakeries. I just cant be happier to have a grocery like this near my home--theyre rare pretty much anywhere in Chicago.

With a small grocer like Farmers Pride, theres almost never a need to enter a chain-owned supermarket. In a very compact plan, the selection of produce is broad & the quality is very good. Similarly, the meat & fish counter is stacked. Above all, the service here is excellent. You may not find the most exotic items here, but for week-to-week groceries youd be hard-pressed to find a more satisfying or affordable source.

This place is fantastic - Family owned, they take a lot of pride in making sure that everything is in top shape around the store. They pack a surprising variety of products in such a small space, and have an excellent wine/beer selection. Try the homemade salsa and guacamole - the guy behind the deli counter makes it every week!

Its very near to my friends place, making it the perfect small market to obtain what I need, whilst visiting them. On more than one occasion, Ive had to pause whilst preparing a meal, to reload on a particular ingredient. The staff are very friendly as well.

They have awesome sandwiches made to order. Soo good. Also, their produce selection is good and they have discounts on produce that is past its prime. Their beer and wine selection is also pretty good. Ill definitely be going here more often for groceries

Great little store with a good variety of dry goods, produce, meat and a surprising number of meat alternatives. Great selection of craft beer at best-in-neighborhood prices, supported by a decent selection of wine and a little liquor.

Cheap, great quality, nice workers, basically all you need. Also, if you do somehow manage to break 50 bucks there, they award you with your choice of free large dozen eggs or a 2 litre soda!
