I have been going to Active Electric for years and have purchased many lovely things. I saw a light I liked and after having paid found out it had been discontinued. They called and said I could have the floor model. They were going to take off 20$. Not much for a floor model discount. When I went to pick it up I wasnt sure and wanted to look at it again. You would not believe the involved talk I got about the trouble they would have to go through to let me see it again. It was ridiculous. Yeah, it was in a box, and? Unfortunately I will not go out of my way to shop here ever again. Bad customer service for no reason. There are too many other places to find fixtures.

We ordered lobby lights and were supposed to get them within 10 working days. After 10 working days, I called; they said the lights are on back-order. Shouldt the salesperson have notified us about this, instead of me calling? Then, I called today, two more weeks, now a total of four weeks, and still no lights. They have NO idea when they will come in. As for customer service, NOT GOOD! Would we order again from here? Not sure.

Tried to get through to them on the phone, but to no avail. I did speak briefly to an operator, but she cut me off before even allowing me to complete my question. Too bad as I had hoped to do business with them.

Great selection. We found a chandelier that we both love. And I checked internet prices after we got home and was surprised to find that Active had the best price. Plus, I loved Helen our salesperson.

This would be a 5 star rating if they had the best pricing. But the pricing is middle of the road, which is great. However, the staff is very dependable and they really go out of their way if need be.
