The way staff runs things is very subpar. I cant speak for their tattoos, but as far as their piercings go they are severely lacking in customer service. I received a cartilage piercing and the process was fine. The first red flag was the piercer recommending dial hand soap among other options to clean it with. After my research, it was concluded that you should never use soap and water, only a sea salt based spray (ex: H2O Ocean) or a sea salt soak. I came back not too long after to buy more H2O Ocean only to be told "Sorry the piercer isnt here and we dont know where he put the key to the box so we cant sell you any." In my opinion it doesnt make much sense to own a tattoo/piercing shop and the employees dont even know where the key to products is -- Which brings me to my last point: the piercer is only available two of the seven days in the week the shop is open. Even with scheduling ahead, their service is simply inconvenient to say the least. If your only looking for the job to be done, call in advance to schedule it. For follow ups, finding another shop is your best bet.

I cannot speak to their ability to tattoo but i can speak to customer service. Beyond horrible. I went in to schedule an appointment for a tattoo. This tattoo was really special to me as its for my daughter that i miscarried. Their post on Google says they are open until 8pm. I wanted to schedule an appointment after 6pm. Well one guy was going out of town and the other guy only works till six I explained the sensitivity of my tattoo and why i was scheduling it for that particular date (her due date) and ask if the one guy who was off at 6 could possibly do it after six. He closed the book and said "no i have a wife and kid im off at six..." There was no compassion at all, no "im sorry for you loss but unfortunately I cannot accommodate blah blah blah" just a rude insensitive no. So I asked if they could refer me to any other p;aces in town and again... "no." The worse customer service ever....So i headed to No Regrets down town Champaign where they were beyond caring. Plus there shop is a little more upscale

Getting a tattoo was prob the most spontaneous thing I have ever done!! I have always wanted one but thinking too much about it, it never happened. After a devastating bears loss me and my gf decided it was time to update our images!! "Lunchbox" helped us out with a new nose ring for my friend and a tattoo for me! I have to say the service was amazing, the place was remarkably clean, my tattoo came out perfect and exactly what i wanted and my gf loves loves loves her piercing. I am planning on getting another tattoo and even if I move I am def gonna come back to this place! IF YOU ARE THINKING ABOUT GETTING A PIERCING OR TATTOO DEF. GO SEE THESE GUYS!!!!

Ive had a lot of stuff done here. Navel piercing, nostril piercing, tragus piercing, tattoo and septum piercing. I have never had a problem with anything. The staff is incredibly friendly and professional, and they take great lengths to ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and a good healing process. I have never had any complications, regrets or complaints. I highly recommend this place. If you dont like them or if theyre rude to you, its probably your fault.

I recieved a nose piercing there and it was fine, however when I went to get a tattoo done I got less than a sentence into explaining some ideas that I might want and the apprentice immediately shot me down, called me unoriginal, explained how "I probably wouldnt be able to handle the pain anyways" and talked AT me not with me for 25 min about how horrible my idea was when I hadnt even had a chance to explain myself fully

Rudest staff Ive ever encountered. The owner was downright unpleasant. He made snide comments about my arm piece being unoriginal and when I joked about the music playing he felt the need to remind me "whose shop I was in." If I wasnt halfway through a tattoo, I would have got up and left right then. It may be your shop buddy, but customers pay your bills. And you just lost a customer!

Just got two tattoos from Lois today and am in love with them. My brother also got two tattoos from Lunchbox today, my cousin got two, and my aunt got one. It was a great atmosphere, the guys were friendly, professional, and very clean!!!!! I would recommend this place to anyone wanting a great quality tattoo at a fair price:)

My aunt, cousin, and I went to New Life today and Lunchbox is phenomenal! He took time to hear our story and created an awesome sunflower in remembrance of my cousin. This was my first tattoo and he made me feel at ease with the entire process. Highly recommend Lunchbox at New Life Tattoos
