Took my Benz in for a replacement tire had a flat ended up being a crack in rim .. one of the Tech hit my car pulling it into there garage I was furious . It took 6 days for them to get my car to back to me and yes they covered all fees and even covered my rim which is why I went there in the first place., they even covered my rental but did not reimburse me for my gas I put in the rental the manger Luis was very nice and polite the other manger had an attitude when I questioned him about my car n the rental long story shorty I got my car back and there are still scratches and blemishes where they hit my car at and just coverd up with paint and to top it off the other side now has a chip in the paint and crack I left and took my car from there because I had to get to work and didnt want to have a argument in the store but plan on contacting my lawyer I did not bring my car In that way and I want it fix correctly not half assed ...... ps I have used this pep boys for over 8 years with multiple cars of mines but this takes the cake Im never returning after this inconvenience

BAD SERVICE AND QUESTIONABLE ETHICS. I took my car in because it would not start. They troubleshot it for 4 hours and could not determine the problem. The "Service Advisor" told me that it was a starter problem although the car had no symptoms of a starter problem. (Clicking, trying to start but not turning over, Clunking, etc.) While talking to the mechanic on the side he let it slip that one of the fuses related to the PCM had blown and that when they put in a fuse it solved the problem. When I confronted the "Service Advisor" he tried to sell me some nonsense regarding it not starting until the starter was changed which clearly contradicted what his mechanic was telling me, and what the symptoms were. I spent approximately $295.00 dollars and a week later the PCM fuse blew again. Sad part is they lost a long time customer of many years.

BEWARE!!! My husband has used this facility a few times but the last time he got an oil change he left with the feeling that he had paid for a service that was not done, but he decided to not think further since he had no proof. Today he returned again as a trusting customer, but remembering his previous experience he checked the filter and oil color PRIOR to dropping off the car. He was in disbelief to find this time with proof that the filter was the same greasy, old filter he had and the oil color was just as he had last seen it. He complained and everyone assured him the job had been done until he personally showed the manager what he had. He ended up actually servicing the car at no cost while my husband watched. One thing I will say. We will NOT RETURN. Fool me only once.

This location will be getting my business from now on. The people are helpful and friendly, and Paul the manager is very nice. He was kind enough to fix an error that the Forest Park location made--for no charge. For a detailed description, go to my review of the Forest Park, IL Pep Boys location. I hope this is the last time I change mechanics. My fortune has not been so great as Elite Tire & Auto kept finding things wrong with my car that were not there and Just Tires did not check my fluids at oil change time like they were supposed to. Plus, they did not know how to keep appointments. Pep Boys--Broadview is the place to go!

The worst services I have ever had...every single time i have been here whether for oil change, brake pads etc something goes wrong plus i have to wait minimum of ONE HOUR just for my car to be looked at....apparently they are ALWAYS that busy...oil change they left dirt in my interior my driver seat was stained and they didnt even change the mileage sticker. When i went for brake pads change i also requested for rotation of tires...they broke a lug nut and didnt even have a replacement in STOCK!!! I hate this place only went because it was close from now on i will make the drive to anywhere else!!

Worst experience ever....my car stalled nearby..only option was pep boys...at first they tried to sell me a tune up..they did not know what was wrong and was told to wait for the guy that knows what hes doing...guess the rest of em can barely change oil....then finally they told me whats wrong...fixed it myself, noticed they put the plugs back in the wrong order....i think they were really trying to sell me that tune up, because messing up the firing order is just a rookie mistake....Be advised...there are plenty of decent mechanics close by

Absolutely terrible auto service. Go in for ball joints and one rotor replacement. Come pick up my car that I didnt have for 3 days and it doesnt start. Then on way home the rotor that got swapped is smoking everywhere. Car dies too when I gas it. I just had it at the dealership last week and everything outside what was needed to be done was ok. Also thru out my parts that got replaced so how do I know anything is new besides the few bolts? What did you guys do to my car? Its worse now than when it went in.

My experience was sooo positive. Paul is extremely kind and helpful. I started coming after I was jabbed by my Infiniti dealer. The mechanic that worked on my car has it running like a top. I dont have his name but want to get it for future reference. Pep Boys has a wonderful service that I did not know about. A parts truck services area stores so parts are readily available. Worst place I have ever been to!!! The guy who was on the register told me one lie after another had me wait 2 hours on a wait time he estimated to be 30 minutes I initially asked them to fix one thing they come up with a million other issues tried to charge$650 for 3 yes "T H R E E" "1,2,3" tires that he told me was on sale horrible just horrible they will rip u off stay very far away form this place!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Worst customer service. I went to the parts counter where this girl gave me an attitude from the minute I asked for help. She was unprofessional and rude and didnt even get the right part for my car .I asked the guy at the register for her name and he said Stephanie. He also said she was the manager.i wasted my time and patience going there I will not be shopping there again. This place is a joke!

This place has terrible customer service!!! I went to get my tire pressure sensors programmed at 5:15 pm the service writer told me that they couldnt do it until the next day. He said that his technicians didnt know how to use the programming tool. They had two cars in the service bay and I saw one of the technicians doing a tire repair.

Stopped in to this pepboys to pick up some cleaning supplies for me and my wife car. Was immediately greeted by a young lady named Martha. Boy was I impressed by her knowledge about cleaning and detailing automobiles. She knows her stuff! Service with a smile. Ask for Martha you will be amazed! Great customer service experience!!!!
