Amanda is amazing. I cannot gush enough about how happy I was with her service. My sister offered me a $40 Reward Certificate (how she couldnt want more shoes, I dont understand), and when I went to order the Steve Madden Kombat Boot (it came back!) online, I couldnt apply her coupon to my order because it was linked to her Member #. I called Shoephoria, but the woman just kept telling me to go into the store or have my sister place the order (fat chance, she has twins), so I searched for a location within 50 miles, and Algonquin was the only one that came up. I called. Amanda was happy to help, but after having checked for the boot, she returned to tell me that the order they have is defective and therefore unsellable (thank you Shoe Gods for not letting DSW sell defective goods). She recommended that I call Shoephoria, but after recounting the advice Id received, she said shed do it and call me back tonight or during her next shift (on Saturday). I went about my night and abandoned my phone for a couple of hours. By the time I got her message, it was 5 minutes to closing time, and I called telling her that it could wait if it would take more than 5 minutes. But she stayed on the phone with me until 7 after to help place an order to my home. As someone whos worked in the service industry for a long time, I have a HUGE appreciation for any employee whos willing to go above and beyond in their job. Amanda deserves a promotion/raise/pat-on-the-back/cookies-from-yours-truly. Shes officially my favorite retail worker. :)

Went in to buy shoes. Everything good while shopping but when I went to pay cashier asked if I wanted to apply for a rewards card and I said no. She asked if I new of anyone who has rewards card so my purchase could go to them and i said no and she was ok with that. Than the cashier next to her asked the customer that she was checking out if she would like the points of my purchase to go to her and she said yes. The problem I have with this is that I wasnt even asked and the cashier should have never offered any body elses purchase points. No one asked for my permission and the lady who my points went to didnt even say thank you. I feel your employees should not be doing that because that other customer didnt make the purchase and it is my right to not want the rewards card and for my points to not go to anyone unless I want them to. Your cashiers should be more curtious and respectful to others and ask before they act.

I love this store! I find really cute high heel shoes and boots here at great prices. Some of my favorite brands, G by Guess, Steve Madden, Marc Jacobs, etc. I found a pair of heels that were originally $80 but they were on clearance and because I am a member of their loyalty program they send me coupons in the mail. After using the coupons I paid $1.07 for these shoes! Made my week! :)

Shoes! Who doesnt love shoes? DSW has every kind of shoes for every occasion. And now they have a kids section at this location. i wish they had it when my kids were little. Such cute selections. Was just there shopping for dressy sandals for a wedding & found the perfect gold glittery sandals for a great price.

Clean, wide, open aisles with displays you can see from halfway across the store. Staff is always working to keep things in order, and the wait at the register isnt quite long enough to get distracted into an impulse buy.

Good store with a good selection of casual and draw shoes. Though if you need a good pair of outdoor shoes youre better off going to an outdoorsman store.
