On Monday the 3rd of August, I took a coupon that had expired on the 31st of July for a free item. I had checked twice before for the free item but they were always out of stock. I told the cashier the last time I was there that I had to travel out of town and would check when I got back. To make a long story short, she called the manager and told him she remembered me being in there looking for the item. He didnt bat an eye, said no problem he would honor the coupon. Even told me to check the stock number closely cause there are several that look alike. I buy a lot of stuff at Harbor Freight and have for years. The quality of products has increased so much over the years. The only item Ive ever had a problem with was a solar powered LED light that wouldnt work right at night but worked fine in the daylight when I didnt need it. It only cost $9.99 so I still have it and it still doesnt work. Customer Service is very important in the retail trades and Harbor Freight has it in spades. They have tools that work and I wouldnt get too upset if I lost one because they are so much cheaper in price then anyone else. If you buy a tool that you maybe use once in your life, this is the place to go get it. Many of my good tools are Craftsman but if I need to use a screwdriver as a pry bar, I wouldnt think twice about using the screwdriver set I got for free from Harbor Freight. These guys are great!

twice in a row the lines were long to where it took 20 minutes to check out...they have like what 4-6 cashier stations? are they all open or just 1 or 2 to cut back on employees and save money? yes the stuff is cheap and i do use alot of it but the customer service isnt as great as youd expect, but then again this is going on at all Stores in the US...cutback in hours, management, employees, and service then suffers-

purchased an oil pump, it worked for a minute then broke. The store wont give me my money back and the 800# told to call said they would refund my money but will take 5 weeks!!!! I WILL NEVER SHOP THERE AGAIN! It is against their policy to give refunds for pumps BEWARE!

Harbor Freight always has good prices on tools and garage type stuff. Its easy to walk around the store and browse the selection. If you sign up for their marketing stuff, youll get coupons in the mail that will save you lots of money.

I love this place. Hand tools are fantastic, come with the same warranty as the other big name brands. Never had an issue with value in what I am purchasing, and the staff has always been friendly. I go back often!

27 minutes a in line and none of the lines are even long, nothing rang up correctly at the register, I could have driven to the Boise location in the same amount of time
