The merchandise is very disorganized. Anyone can grab books off the shelves and read them and they never bother putting them back in the correct place, so even if you can get an employee to help you look for one, most often the books wont be there. Another problem is the letting anyone sit around and read these books like its a library. Ive bought several books that had water damage (which I assume and hope is from people coming back to reading the book after going to the bathroom and washing their hands) and bent pages from where people dog ear and manhandle them. The employees were extremely rude when I brought this up at checkout when I asked for a discount on the water-damaged one. I wouldnt have bought it if there was another copy of it in the store. Their supply is very limited.

I went into this bookstore last week and ordered 9 books for my book club. I was informed the lady at the desk that I needed this book before Wed (2/3/2017). She informed me that the books would be there. I called today (2/2/2017) only to be told that my books hadnt been picked yet and they probably had to go to another warehouse to get them. My book club meeting is tomorrow and I have no books. They didnt try to get in touch with me for my order to let me know I wouldnt be getting the books. They werent professional in this situation. The store is junky and they dont have hardly any books of quantity. Very disappointed and I will never shop there again.

The books are extremely disorganized. I will go into the store with 10 books on my list and come out with none because either A-I cannot find them in the correct spot or B-they dont carry them. They do not carry books that are National Bestsellers. The employees know NOTHING about books. I told an employee as I was checking out (on the rare occasion that I did find what I was looking for) that the shelves were disorganized and not alphabetized and her reply was "Were too busy to bother with that." TOO BUSY. AT A BOOKSTORE. TO ORGANIZE BOOKS.

There isnt one negative thing I could possibly say about Books-A-Million. If youre a reader and a writer like myself then this is the place to be. If they dont have it they can get it and the customer service there is impeccable. I highly recommend you check it out and Id like to say Thank You to everyone working there! Its a wonderful place to put your mind at work. :)

My go to place for books, I am an avid reader and hit them up at least twice a month. They could use a couple more staff and a somewhat better balanced selection in the sci/fi fantasy section as it seems to weigh more heavily on the fantasy side, not complaining, but sometimes I am in the mood for hard core space sci/Fi

I LOVE to read and books a million is the only bookstore in Valdosta that sells a lot of new books. . . . wish the employees knew a bit more about their product . . . however with Mickie Ds around the corner I can grab me a coffee and then browse the wonderful shelves of books :) One of my faveroite haunts in town :)

Very rude cashier that would not accept my coupon from my phone. It was valid and not expired. Said they did not accept my particular coupon. It was sent out from their store and they wouldnt accept it. They were very unprofessional and lost my business.

I was looking for a few Christmas books that I wanted to purchase for my son. An employee helped me find the books that I was looking for and knew right away that another wasnt available, but could be ordered. Great customer service!

Rude customer service. They offer no help or assistance in the store. The return policy is ridiculous and the prices are increased in store vs. online.
