not a fan of this store, i have bought 3 tvs, a microwave, and a computer from this place totaling about $2500 in the last 2 years paid for the microwave, and one of the tvs out of pocket, but i financed 2 tvs and a computer.... the microwave broke 1 year after i got it and the warranty i purchased did not help so i had to purchase another microwave (from another store), the other tvs were stolen (not brandsmarts fault) however i purchased a release from liability insurance on the tvs and computer and when i called the finance desk to claim it, i was given the run around so much so that i had to go up to the store with the contract highlighted, clearly stating that if my equipment was damaged or stolen that i am free from liability, but the associate acted like it was my fault that i was burglarized and that i purchased the product and they could not guarantee that i would be released even though thats what the contract said AND they were the ones that suggested the extra $20.00 on top of my payment for the coverage in the first place, not to mention some other crazy discount program they added for another $18 that i have yet to use. i think that they get commission on the extras coverages they add on top of the purchase, I had to speak with a supervisor at the corporate office to get it handled releasing me from paying for the tvs and refinancing the computer, i had to end up paying a late fee because it took them 2 weeks to get this resolved even though i made the claim 1 week before my payment was due. i am saddened at how brandsmart takes advantage of low income people with these finance companies and all these add-ons that drive the overall payment up, and the astronomical interest rates on financing even if you have good credit. I cant wait to pay off the computer with them so i can be done once and for all with brandsmart and i will never purchase another electronic product from them, and unless youre desperate i wouldnt recommend buying from them either

Don’t Do It! If you buy anything from BrandsMart in Stockbridge, just be aware that, should it break after 30 days (and I don’t mean 31 days), you’re screwed. And if you don’t have a receipt, you’re screwed too. A lot of the products they sell are substandard anyhow, but the fact that they have that 30 day ONLY return policy, you’re really rolling the dice if you purchase anything from there. Five weeks ago, we bought a microwave from there. A few days back, we noticed that there was a burn mark developing and growing on the glass view screen. (Radiation?) So we called them, told them what was happening and they said, “Of course we’ll replace it. That’s dangerous!” We took it to the store and after haggling with my wife for about 30 minutes, the manager finally said, “Sorry, we’re not replacing it.” Dangerous as it was, my wife just left it on the counter and walked out. What if it had been a refrigerator or some really high-dollar item? On another occasion, we’d bought a KitchenAide coffee maker from there. It leaked. We took it back, with the receipt, the next day and it was like pulling teeth to get them to exchange it. Why we bought anything else from them after that experience is anybody’s guess. Prices I guess, but not at all worth the gamble. This is not a vindictive review; this is an honest warning. Addendum: Since I originally gave my review on Yelp*, I must say that the management at BrandsMart in Stockbridge has gone out of their way to see to it that our situation was rectified. I still dont know how this will ultimately turn out, but in all fairness, they are making more than a small effort to see that were satisfied. My guess would be that there are folks who are management in name alone who are drawing a check and couldnt care less about the customer - And then there is upper management who know that the customer is their lifes blood and they genuinely care. I am a frequent shopper of Brands Mart, but Im so sadly to say NEVER AGAIN. I went shopping for a deep freezer I researched you have on the internet which stated you still have in the store. I went to purchase and you did not have it, which was no problem, I assume you had one similar. So the salesmen stated to me you were out, I followed him upstairs to purchase a different one. We go upstairs you have two employees sitting laughing conversing etc, the you man who was helping said excuse me .. Denise do we have a similar freezer around the same price - NO! She quickly replied with out taking a look in the computer next to her, nothing, she just rudely cut the man off with NO! We waited to hear her say a alternative maybe etc, she just starred very blank as if we was wrong for disturbing her conversation with the fellow employe. So rude the other employes had a shameful and silence look on their face. I say mam you were very disrespectful to me just now with your tone, your GM would like that, she quickly replied WHO? I said your General Manger .... Again no reply just a very evil and intimidating look. I was with my kids and felt slightly threaten my whole mood became abrupt. If these are the type of salespeople you have I need to protect myself instead of shop. Ms Denise Davis in appliances at your Peach tree / 285 "Atlanta Ga" store should not be there, I have never felt so humiliated in my life. I did feel a complaint out, and again it was not the answer, it was her demeanor was very dark and careless and unapologetic regarding anything. 5000 Motors Industrial Location NO GO never again BRANDSMART

We were there Monday and were about to purchase our first whole kitchen set as a couple they had a floor model marked down refrigerator, kitchen-aid all we needed was a stove we had the microwave and dishwasher picked out. I needed to use the restroom my husband walked down stairs with me and as we were down there relooking at fridge just making sure everything was the right size, next thing we know a guy walks up not our sales person but guess he was the manager rips the sale sign off and said this isnt for sale any more, something is wrong with it think we will be sending this back to ware house. Nothing was wrong with it before that we had been there for a while but I did notice the tag was not right Even if it was something wrong with it the professionalism he showed was not very nice we had spent 1 hour of hour time wasted now picking out stuff to match that. And our sales man could not even tell us his self? This was my first time using Brand smart. I almost wasted more time going off on them but Im needing my appliances as my dish washer and fridge is still broken.

Went to them to get a dishwasher, and bought the 2 year extended warranty. Dishwasher started acting up 6 mos later. I called to have them come repair it and I got hung up on 4 times in mid sentence. And then told they couldnt find my name in the system under my phone number. And kept telling me I must have put it under another number. I only have one number and its been the same for 3 years. When they finally found it, she said okay I will transefer you to the service department so they can set up an appointment. I sat on hold for TWENTY MINUTES before someone from customer service came on to say hello how may I help you, i told hwr i was trying to set up the appointment and had been qaiting for 20 minutes, she said maam the service department is closed 3d for the weekend and wont be open til monday. I dont know why they sent you to them. Are you kidding me? They were rude, argumentative and I spent too much money at that store to be treated that way. I doubt we will go back. I
