Yesterday I went to the Best Buy location at 1709 Scenic Hwy. This visit was because I purchased an open box computer from the Turner Hill location, where the representative ensured me, that there was nothing wrong with the computer. And that the sticker on the screen, meant that it was only a display unit and not a return. But yet they had no box or paperwork to go with it. So I purchase the machine only to learn that then internet does not work. I spent the better part of the entire week, transferring files, adding software, and doing everything I could, to try and get this system up to par. And I sold my other computer so I am stuck. But as I am starting to work on it, internet keeps dropping. I know its not the connection because it happens, as school, work, my coffee shop and at home. What is a computer that can not connect to the internet; useless. So I bring it back to the location closest to my home. I sat in that store for more than an hour waiting for someone to assist me, but no one did. Asked for a manager from that department, the sales person became defensive, and told me the manager was busy helping him, and that they were doing all they could. Not apologetic, not taking ownership of the problem, rather offended that I even asked for a manager. But this is the same guy who spent almost that full time chatting it up with two ladies that were customers and they were blushing and he was charming, and I am thinking, my friend theres a good 6 plus additional customers that need your help. But he was way to busy getting his mack on. So after an hour, with no hope in site. I impulsively decided, I will just take my money elsewhere. but the problem is, it was 8 something by the time I left, and any store even close would be closed long before I could make that transition. So I left your store in a hast after requesting a full refund. Almost 900 dollars in revenue gone, because a lack or good customer service.

TO ANYONE BUYING A NEW TRUCK OR CAR AND IN NEED OF QUALITY AUDIO INSTALLATION - THIS STORE CURRENTLY HAS THE GUY!!!! I visited the local Best Buy Store #776 1679 Scenic Hwy N, Snellville, GA 30078. Darell Elem was assisting his team but also found the time in assisting with and helping with my order of a fairly expensive Kicker car audio package for my new Ford F-150. Mr. Elem was courteous, attentive, and showed real leadership on the sales floor by vouching for Jeff in the car/audio install bay via GeekSquad. Normally I would have chosen the dealership with my new car...but I took a chance. If this store continues to show the strength and knowledge as well as the expertise and professionalism through its management and employees that I received.... this store should be a model of how a proper Best Buy is run in the surrounding Atlanta Area. The honesty, integrity, attitude, and expertise demonstrated in this clean and organized store continually earns my loyalty as a Best Buy customer. I know the holidays will be a mess and this area can be very congested and busy.... but I have faith in this store and this team to make a majority of customers with expectations "grounded in reality" very, very happy! Your store is a textbook case that illustrates why Best Buy has had to close several stores. I spent the better part of an HOUR trying to look at tablets to purchase (I also have an iPad that I wanted to trade in). In this time, your "Samsung Experience" area has a table full of non-powered tablets, and after watching me try to turn them on, the "employee" (I use that term loosely) never tells me that there is a problem with power to the table where they are. I then go to look at the Note 3.0 and the Gear smartwatches - the watches arent powered and I receive NO assistance with the Gear 3.0 from said "employee". Lo & behold, I walk back to the Tablet area to look at other tablets & what do I see? POWERED Samsung tablets. Why the #$%% didnt the "employee" tell me there were some working in the back? Of course, only a couple of them are actually properly configured & connected to the internet! The new Kindle HDX tablets arent configured at all and the Surface tablets are in need of a system update and wont work. Several employees walked by me and NO ONE asked if I needed any help. I will most certainly take my business elsewhere. Your store is AWFUL.

The service at the Snellville Best Buy is the worst I have experienced. Four visits comprising of wait times of 45 minutes to 1 1/2 hours, employees in slow motion chatting on their cell phones and spending their energy passing the buck rather than solving a problem and never more than one employee manning the Geek Squad area. After my loooong waits was instructed to contact the Geek Squad on-line (which resulted in countless hours), download Windows 8.2 (which I did, to no remedy), a wait in line which expired my lunch break and caused me to be late going back to work (never did get to speak with an associate .) Last visit - I insisted upon exchanging the less than 6 month old "laptop", was refused and told that i would have to send it to headquarters three times before it could be declared a "lemon" and eligible for exchange. So, now useless laptop is gone for at least two weeks and Best Buy would not even loan one to me in the interim. RiCONDulous company, especially the slow moving, nonchalant Snellville branch. I will NEVER purchase from Worst Buy again.

EDIT: Just went to get an item price matched, Geek Squad member looks up the item, goes "Yeah I know they wont price match that" and walks off ignoring me the rest of the time I was in the store. Was going to have them match Amazon instead of Microcenter and but he ignored me and then I look at the box itself and the box was OPEN already and the only one in stock. This was for a monitor, wont be returning as this isnt the first time their customer service has been terrible. Being a computer nerd they have quite a few systems setup right out of the box without changing any settings which is great for comparing the TVs or monitors without worrying about them having special settings to trick you. The downside is they have them setup as default and some use the wrong cables or cords so they dont show the full range of features they can do. The staff is helpful and will let you mess with the display devices to see what you like.

They wired everything correctly and it sounds great but they failed to put the dashboard, carpit, and AC ducts back together. My AC controls are now rattling and the plastic is cracked. Oh and they wired my antenna control button in reverse, so when I want it to go up it goes down and down goes up. Had to fix that myself. Unacceptable..., the usb port is hanging outside the radio on the floor,I am absolutely disgusted with the lack of customer service at this establishment. I am livid that I was misled and drove 50 miles at 10 am appt waited 2-1/2 for my radio to be put in.I experienced one or more incompetent/misleading salesmen and a complete lack of customer service/empathy.That was a massive waste of time.They pretty much rip you off. They will say how good their installation is and it is very important to get it installed correctly.. Well I know but a lot of other people cancan do the same time for a lot cheaper. :(
