I have shopped at this store since the day it opened. As a matter of fact when I moved to GA ... I was a downloader ONLY of anime, but now I buy all I can and not just the shows... the wall scrolls, figurines, manga and even the food .... it is fabulous. I am pleased with the store and how it has grown. I was ALWAYS welcome when I came in, from the very first when I went in to buy my first scroll, to the present when I only get in there to say Hi. :) I love how down to earth everyone is, and how I can go in, watch a new show (or old one) and eat a snack, talk with lovely people and watch the games being played. I play Magic and I have been to and even won a tourney there. If you are looking for a GREAT place to buy games, comics and/or anime and manga... please do go to the store. I promise that you will be pleased. The selection is always growing and if you dont see something, Please ... just ask.. maybe they can get it for you. :) The prices are fine for most things, all anime is pretty pricey... but there is always a sale going on. And the fact that you can pretty much ask them about anything and they will be friendly about answering you... well I will always shop here for that alone. So... again... if you are looking for an anime/gaming store in GA and you are close to McDonough, please do stop in and say "Hi" ... you will be surprised at the friendliness of the people, all of them, from the workers and owners to the patrons. It is not their set up that is in question, but the management and how they run things. I had just started going there when I had a personal problem with one of the people that frequents there. That person made feel unwelcomed by turning other customers and the owners against me for a personal matter that had nothing to do with the store. They said that they did not care for "drama" and did not want to take sides. If this was the case then they would not have ut all ties with me and made me feel unwelcomed to a public business that I spent money everytime I visited. In short, yeah they have stuff. House of Anime, Odins Cosmic Shelf, and Galactic Quest have all the same stuff without all the drama and with a greater atmosphere. And McDonough is so out of the way, dont you think?

Pretty cool store- good selection of Warhammer 40K and Age Of Sigmar stuff and its nice that they also offer a place to play as well as build/paint. They also seem to have a good selection of other cool nerd-stuffs but thats out of my area of expertise to really say for sure. They have a membership discount program after you spend a certain amount, which is also nice. Staff is friendly and helpful. As for negatives, checkout could be a bit faster (minor complaint) and their bathroom could use a little TLC. Also, the store is a bit of a pain to get in and out of due to location but thats not really their fault. Overall, a very good shop.

Anime-zing Escape is such an awesome place to be. There is such a variety in that store. Ive played in many yugioh tournaments there weekly and there are fierce competition in there. The employees are really funny and generous. Compared to Book End and Anime-zing Escape, Anime-zing Escape is open everyday AND doesnt charge inactive people for the event (yes book end steals peoples 5 bucks just for staying). Awesome Rated 5 stars always.

Im terrible at write long winded reviews so Im going to list things I like and dont like about Anime-zing Escape. Likes: Friendly Staff, Up-to-date selection of manga, Magic cards, Pokemon cards, Warhammer, gunpla, comic books, frequent events, lots of participation by staff and customers. Dislike: There just isnt enough room for everyone all the time but thats not their fault.

Friendly staff, lots of room for games. Have good amount of Warhammer and Hordes stuff there, not so much for any other miniatures. Lots of stuff for Magic and other card games. Owner is very nice, will order anything you like. Not a weeboo so i have no idea if their anime stuff is good, just come to neckbeard out with warhammer

Came down south for job training and came across this small anime/gaming shop. The selection is of decent sized, but the quality of what they have couldnt be over looked. Found a figurine I havent seen in year in their selection. Anytime I revisit McDonough I will be sure to stop by again!!!

Very friendly and welcoming staff. Take my kid to the Pokemon League event outerwear of what to do, and was quickly helped and shown what to do. Little disappointed they dont sell individual Pokemon cards, but they did have wide variety of other types of collectors cards there.

Friendly, clean, and amazing staff. Never found a place as awesome as this. Love how something new is always going on there... I learn more just going in and looking around. Anime, manga, wall scrolls, figures, keychains, t-shirts, pocky, etc. Love this place.

The few times I have been to this establishment. Its been a wonderful experience. Need anything not visible on the shelves and they will order it for you. Its a great place to go for all your tabletop gaming and anime.

Overprice most things. Some anime figures are almost double what Ive seen elsewhere. More of a tabletop gaming store now more than anything, and also the comics are being cleared out.
