I had the worst bridal experience of my life at Impressions. I am a 2nd time bride, and I know how you should be treated as a bride and a customer. I showed up for a first fitting. From the second I walked in, there were plenty of staff, but none that felt they needed to direct me to the alterations area, explain what was going on etc. I waited for 15 minutes before anyone told me what was going on, and even then it was minimal- like here, get dressed. No one offered to help or assist. I then stood there for another 10 minutes waiting for my turn. My dress didnt fit. My dress didnt fit by a lot. When I purchased the dress, I tried on several other dresses in different sizes/styles and then staff measured me and the dress was purchased. 4 inches of fabric needed to be added to the dress to make it fit. Im the same size. I know this because after I left the store I went back to another bridal store and tried on dresses after I left Impressions and I was the same size I was 5 months ago. So either I was measured wrong, or the dress was made wrong. The alterations lady told me to take the dress off. Before I could say or do anything she had ripped out all the seams. She didnt ask, she didnt explain what she was going to do, she just ripped open my dress in 3 different places. So now I had no choice. I either paid to have the dress fixed or I had $250 worth of rags and useless fabric. Instead of placing me in a larger private dressing room to pin the dress back together since all my undergarments were now showing, she did it on the floor which further embarrassed me. So now i felt insecure and ugly because my dress didnt fit and Im out in open display for the whole store to witness this. This is supposed to be a joyful experience and I was emotionally destroyed. Afterwards the alterations total was $280 and I had to go to the fabric store and purchase more fabric and bring it back. This was an impressions brand dress with an impressions store seamstress but I had to go to the fabric store because they didnt make the dress right. The alterations cost more than the dress and it would have put me over $500 in. And what choice did I have since she had torn the dress to shreds without my permission? I left crying and devastated. I wont go into detail about how rude and intrusive they treated my friend while I waited - who by the way will NOT be buying her wedding dress at your store now. My dress is absolutely useless now and was destroyed without my permission. I ended up going to Davids bridal and buying a gown on clearance for less than the alterations would cost. I am eloping and wasnt looking to spend much on a gown but still wanted to feel beautiful. To be fair to the management; I went in and asked for a full refund which was given to me without question. They apologized for my experience and did not offer any opposition to my request. They stated they would be implementing changes to ensure this didnt happen to any other customer, which I hope is true. I was relieved to get my money back and move on without any additional strife, and I appreciate the concern management expressed.

So far I have had a very BAD IMPRESSION of this bridal shop! I am not one to often write reviews but I am so irritated by the lack of professionalism that I am getting very nervous about my dress order from this place. To start off with, my dress order was to be placed Nov 30th for timely arrival and allow plenty of time for any alterations, etc. It wasnt until late Dec I realized the store did not run my payment via a credit card authorization I left with store management, (as I was told they would) and my dress was not ordered until I physically had to go back into their store and make the payment myself (late January). At least I hope its been ordered because at this point I am not 100% certain it has. This second time I was asked to fill out a card authorization once again and I when I asked "Do I have to call in the payments monthly?" (thinking maybe I had misunderstood the original arrangmenet) I was told very clearly they would set up a reminder in THEIR system for them to contact me monthly before they ran my payment, and ONLY if I needed to make changes did I have to call them. Great! I figured that was settled. Come January 28th, when I received a reminder text and email that my payment would be processed on the 30th of January, as expected, I again thought, good. Well its now Feb 8th and no payment has processed on my card. So I call the store to ask about it and am told by the Assistant Manager that she is not aware of them ever making payment plans like this, that as far as she know I am suppose to call in the payments. If that is the case then why the heck do they need my signed card authorization on file??!!! Also after almost 9 mins on the phone she couldnt even locate my account information to know what amount she would post my payment for?! At this point I was very irritated to the point I wanted to yell at someone but I decided to tell her I would just have to go into the store ONE MORE TIME and figure out exactly what it is I need to do do make sure my order is being processed as I was told it would be!! She clearly had no idea what was going on and could do nothing more but apologize. Yes, Im very sorry too! Now I end up feeling stuck , because I have paid over 50% of the cost of my dress (which I do love) and dont have the budget or the time to go dress shopping somewhere else, but I AM EXTREMELY NERVOUS FOR MY DRESS ORDER :( !!! I do have to add, that my initial visit was great, and I cannot remember my consultants name but she did a good job. However everything else after that has been horrible. Being concerned about my dress coming in as I requested it and getting the feeling they dont know what they are doing makes me feel very uneasy and that should not be the case for any bride!

Words cannot describe how happy I have been with the service and selection at Impression Bridal Store! My mom, sister, and I went to Impressions on a Saturday. We did not have an appointment, and the consultants were perfectly happy to help us! My consultant, Kylie, was truly wonderful and so helpful! I was nervous and a little overwhelmed, but she made me feel very comfortable. I had no idea what type of dress I wanted, and Kylie not only worked with me, but she made it a lot of fun! We pulled all different types of dresses from all different types of styles. My mom picked some, I picked some, and Kylie picked some as well. The dress I actually chose was a style Kylie had picked, which Im so glad she did! It was the second dress I tried on! Everyone loved it and I loved it too! Kylie allowed me to try on a few more dresses after that dress to make sure that my dress was "the one." She also wanted to make sure I had the full bridal dress shopping experience. Kylie helped me put on all of my dresses, which I very much appreciated not only for the help but also for how comfortable she made me feel. I finally went and put "my dress" back on and decided it was the one! My dress was a discontinued dress, so the one I had on was the only one left and it fit like a glove. It was under my budget ($750) which I also appreciated from Kylie because it showed she wasnt picking the most expensive dresses but dresses that she thought were best for me. By having this dress under my budget, I was able to splurge a little on a really beautiful veil! My wedding dress shopping experience was so great that I decided to work with Impressions for my bridesmaids dresses as well. Kylie was again so awesome and so helpful! My bridesmaids appreciated all the help she offered and it was such a smooth process! One important point I would like to make about my experience is that I never felt pressured to purchase anything. Before I purchased my dress and before the bridesmaids purchased theirs, I asked Kylie if I could have a few moments to talk with my mom and my bridesmaids. Both times, she was more than accommodating. Finally, Impressions works with you and your budget, and can even help set up a payment plan. I would recommend this place to anyone! They have truly beautiful dresses for everyone and a great team working there! Thanks again Kylie!
