I decided to call Felrose and do my own investigation. When I called, the person answering the phone answered very appropriately. I desired fresh fish, not the processed products sold in fast food and school cafeterias. Her stock varies, which is understandable. She had mullet, grunts, blue gill, and bass. I purchased some gunts and blue gill. They looked good. They smelled good. And they tasted glorious. I froze half of them, but wished I had eaten all of them on Friday. I was also pleasantly surprised to find that she had carribean products. She is short staffed and going through the same recession that we all are going through, but when time permits she will cook chicken wings, as well as jerk and curry chicken. I offer the following advice for this business, which I plan to use again and highly recommend to others: get some volunteers to help run the store; negotiate a contract with the area schools and restaurants to deliver them fresh fish--we all need the omega 3s; and finally, may God bless your business--you have blessed me!!

When the first person answered the phone, I asked "Are you a restaurant or a fresh fish market?" She did not know (and I detected no accent that would indicate she maybe did notunderstand) and had to pass the phone to a second person. I was told they could clean fish for me (which, I guess, means they are also a market... I still do not know for sure). Then I asked did they have halibut fillets? "What is that?" the woman asked. I told her that halibut is fish. "What kind of fish?" I then told the woman that halibut was a fish found off the coast of Alaska. She then said that no, they did not have that. What kind of fish place does not know what they are or what they carry?
