Was told to leave store after trying to return a Christmas present after Christmas without a receipt. The product scanned in their system and the price came up (so they do sell the item), yet they refused to give a refund or gift card or exchange. When challenged as to why they wouldnt even exchange it for another one, Britney from jewelry said we should all ask the people who give us gifts for receipts because thats not rude and tasteless at all, right? The manager actually had no excuse, just told me "no" and when I asked why, since it rang up in their system, he couldnt let me at least exchange it for something else, he couldnt come up with a legitimate reason and instead TOLD ME TO LEAVE THE STORE. I will NEVER shop at Belk again. Now I know why its so empty in there all the time. Petty and unprofessional describes this store best.

This is for all belks store. I get coupons in the mail, I had one for $10 off and figure why not by some baby clothes. Well there was no point in that, because when I went to the store everything was either door buster or every day sale, which the coupon could not be applied. Thats bad sales for this company and useless paper being used printing off coupons that are deemed useless. Needless to say I didnt make a purchase and I wont reconsider shopping their until they learn the value in customer sales and service.

Definitely one of their largest locations there is a huge selection of clothes to choose from. Dont forget to check the upstairs for some great household items.
