The new store is a joke. Been a loyal Kroger customer for 20+ years, have shopped there almost exclusively. The old store in Dawsonville was a nice "grocery" store. Had great prices (especially using the Plus card), decent customer service, had senior discount days, and was easy to navigate. The new store is awful. They sell a bunch of nonsense that I dont want to buy at a grocery store (clothing and toys primarily). Their senior discount magically was eliminated in May, didnt find out until a cashier rudely informed me at the checkout like I was some lowlife trying to get a discount. Now they are doing things like "one day sales" where they offer an item at a steep discount for one day only. I read the sign several times and it plainly said "with Kroger Plus card or digital coupon). I get to the checkout with 12 of the items, cashier snarkily informs me that they are now limiting it to 10 because too many people were taking advantage of it. So I void two and then realize Im not getting the "super sale price". Cashier then smugly says I need the digital coupon. Asks if I want to speak to the store manager. After waiting for 15 mins, some big dude comes up and starts getting into it with me! All he had to do (which the old Kroger would have done) would be an override to give me the sales price. Nope! He starts arguing with me trying to make me look like an idiot. I finally walked out leaving all the items at the checkout. Went to Ingles and bought the same items which were on sale there. Had a problem at Ingles where the young guy who was the cashier said it would only give me the discount on 4 items and I had 8. The sign said "at least 4". So the kid was very pleasant and quickly problem solved the situation suggesting I ring up two separate orders of 4! Imagine that, the kid at Ingles was FAR BETTER at problem solving than the big thug at Kroger. I can tell you I will be taking ALL of my business to Ingles now - its actually still just a grocery store with pleasant service. Kroger just lost $1,000s per year in my business, I typically spend $600+ a month there.

WOW! Best experience I have EVER had in Grocery store. so clean and well organized. The best, most helpful employees ever. Totally Jelly of this town. Even the Starbucks employees were nice and patient and helpful. Restrooms were clean and well stocked. Someone has taken the time to properly train their team and it shows.

The people of Dawsonville are so lucky. This is one of the best Kroger I have ever been to. It doesnt feel like Kroger it feels very upscale and it has everything, sorta like a mini Walmart. You can find 3 full aisles stocked with toys as well as clothing and more you dont find at a regular Kroger.

This location was very organized, had more products (besides regular grocery items) than Ive seen at other Kroger locations. It was neat and clean and the lighting in the store was great. My cashier and the person bagging my groceries were very friendly, courteous and they both smiled!

New location is open. If you have a rewards card you can download coupons right to your card every month they send me a bunch of coupons for things I really use. You earn points for the things you buy. Then you can use the points at the Kroger gas station for money off your fill up.

The new store is very nice and clean. They have a good selection of fresh produce and dairy free options. They have a clothing section with good prices. Some items are more expensive than other places, which is expected. Overall a good place to shop.

I like kroger they have everything you want in one store and if you do not like the way they bag your food do it yourself is available.i go there because of my medical needs.they have good quality stuff in clothing. Your choice to go to their store

Overall, a really nice store. The produce department is exceptional. The olive and antipasto bar is a major disappointment, though: it is *much* smaller than the old store, with a very poor selection, while the price has gone up a dollar a pound.

Hate the new store. To big and who buys clothing in a grocery store. Still not enough products due the clothes. Hard to find things and no senior discount anymore. The worst, now I go to Publix, they are much more friendly.

Clean. Found everything I needed. All staff I met were very courteous. I like that you can round up your receipt and the money goes to the USO. I have a don in the Navy and he has been a guest of the USO at several airports.

Ed Lowe is the greatest Kroger store manager Ive ever known. I love their apple cinnamon chicken sausage. Great prices friendly people and Debra Weaver is the best. All with lastly there produce is awesome.

The selection here is fantastic! They have an amazing cheese counter and impressive wine selection with knowledgeable staff working both! The customer service here is top notch.

Its huge! They sell clothes amidst other things. Also noticed they have a local beer isle which is great if you want to try new stuff. Way more upscale than your normal Kroger.

This place is massive. This location also sells clothes and other home items. There is a sushi bar, salad bar, they also make pizza. Starbucks is on location as well.
