I have been coming to this particular Publix for years. I actually stopped going quite a few years ago, but I came tonight to grab some cupcakes. I know they use the buttercream icing, and that is my favorite. It took me all of two seconds to grab cupcakes from the bakery and hopefully check out just as fast. But unfortunately, 5 of the cashiers were all at one station having a conversation. Several shoppers and I were just staring at them, and they stared at us back as they carried on with their conversation. The line for one of the stations finally was left with one person, so I decided to head for that one. The cashier spent 10 minutes arguing with her manager over a coupon the shopper in front of me had. The employee claimed she had never heard of the coupon, while the manager is flipping through his coupon book to show her. It was just downright ridiculous. When I finally got up to her, I am guessing she could see the look on my face, so she didnt greet me. She seemed to forget how to scan an item, so she sat there for 5 more minutes trying to read the 20 digit bar-code and type it in manually. She didnt even tell me the total amount. I read it on the screen. It was just completely horrible customer service. I will stick with the Kroger on Sharon Road. I have never had this issue there.

I think on a scale of cleanliness, this Publix gets a five out of five. It is always clean, tidy, and orderly. There is a fair amount of parking so no problems there. The only negatives I have bar in regards to special orders and different options. I have requested special items a couple of times from this Publix, and it is the only one that has yet to call me to let me know if something came in or was able to come in. It also doesnt have a variety of products that are similar. As an example you have eight or nine different options of jiff peanut butter, but no sunflower butter, no cashew butter, etc.

Ive gone twice in one week to the bakery to buy out all of their cookies. Not only did they not mind that I took all of their product, but they also took the time to repackage them onto different trays for business meetings I had scheduled. In less than 30 minutes from my request they had them ready with smiles on their faces and were helping me carry containers to my car. A++ customer service. You just dont get this anymore... Nice to find some people that care.

This store was unusally busy for a Tuesday when I shopped there. The store was clean and neat. Customer service was great. The price of food items was not. I found that the item that I shop for were anywhere from 15% to 25% higher than other stores that I had shopped at.
