What would have been a 4 or 5 star experience dwindled down to a reluctant 2 star review. It has been months since I shopped inside a Barnes and Noble store. Usually I purchase online books for my tablet, but this time I wanted to buy a hard copy of a book that I had been meaning to get for months for my upcoming trip. Everything started out well; I walked in and found a beautiful floral bag that I picked up to go with my purchase of a book. One of the associates gladly helped me in locating the book, so I was out of the store in less than 15 minutes....a record time for me in a book store. I was on my lunch break from work and I caught an uber to the store. After checking out with Nancy K, I left the store and sat down on the bench right out side to enjoy an ice cream cup and to order me another uber back to my job. My phone died in the middle of this process. Not knowing what to do, I went back to the Barnes and Noble and explained to Nancy my situation. I asked if there was a phone anywhere around that I could use to call my office. She said no, that it was against company policy to let "other people" use the phones. I repeated what she said to me just to make sure that I heard correctly and she confirmed. She could clearly see that I was in distress, that I wasnt some hobo off the street wanting to call up all of my friends that lived in Alaska to have a 10 way conversation. Luckily, I was able to walk over to Chik-fil-a and was able to explain to them my situation and without any further explanation, I was given three phones to use. I am sorry to have to rate Barnes and Noble as a whole with such a poor score, but the fact of the matter is that if the one person who sits at the front of your establishment refuses to budge to help a customer in distress, then clearly someone needs to re-evaluate her position there. Her attitude was abhorrent and downright cold. It may be years before I walk into another Barnes and Noble store again, but I can guarantee it wont be this one.

I popped into the store yesterday on my way to work, which is right next door. Its was 3:52 when I walked in. I was trying to grab a quick cup of coffee before my shift started at 4. I understood that there was a chance Id be a little late, but became very frustrated when the baristas were taking their dear swear time. There were 3 of them. Only one was making drinks. They were all gossiping and talking amongst each other despite the fact that they had customers. Once the barista started on my drink, a girl walked in that I assume she knew from somewhere else, because they were chit chatting it up. She stopped making my drink to talk to this girl. When I finally got my drink at 4:06, 10 minutes later, it was overly foamy for a latte and I was then late for work. No apology on the wait or quality. And she didnt even look me in the eyes when handing me my drink. She just threw it to the side. I would understand if they were late to make it during a busy time, but there was only one person in front of me. The goofing around and not using ANY slight sense of urgency was frustrating. It does not take 10 minutes to make a latte. These girls need some kind of manager keeping them in check, because their behaviour was beyond unprofessional.

This store obviously does not uphold its return policy. I tried to return a book 6 days after my purchase date. Turns out I bought the wrong book, but couldnt make it back to the store this week. Today, the very unpleasant woman at the counter informed me the book appeared too worn to return. I tried to explain to her it has been sitting on my desk since purchase and it was in the same condition as when it was sold to me. She very rudely told me there was no way they could resell it and looked at me like I was about 7 years old and was in trouble. I dont know if the book was used when it was sold to me; there was no shrink wrap or anything. But, a complaint has been filed and hopefully Barnes and noble as a whole has the decency to refund my money. This particular store has lost my business.

My favorite book store in all of Georgia. My experiences here have always been positive. A plethora of books to choose from, well stocked, and willing to order if they dont have the book in stock. Chairs are provided for your reading comfort, and a coffee shop is built into the store, adding to the cozy atmosphere. The Wi-Fi is free and available while you visit the store. If you have a Nook or Barnes and Noble tablet, you can read an E-book for thirty minutes to an hour for free before having to decide if you would like to purchase it. The staff is knowledgeable, and very helpful with the locating of hidden gems worth reading.

I was treated rudely at this store. It was a Friday evening about an hour before closing and I bought a cup of tea and sat down in the cafe. A security guard came and told me to leave in order to make room for other customers. There were several tables open. I saw several teenagers being told to leave, but I am twenty-six years old and had just spent over $100 in that store. Never going back!

Although the customer associates didnt come out of their way to ask how I was doing, when I did ask for help the associates were a great help and had great attitudes & patience when I had a ton of questions about strange books!

A large facility with the usual B&N items. The children section is a mess, but thats almost to be expected. It has a better selection than the B&N at The Forum in Johns Creek.

Employees are not helpful and not knowledgeable. Prices are double in store as they are on their website. Would be nice to know. Books are not organized well.

Great selection, lots of seating location. Could use more cleaners in cafe area, sometime you find just trash lying around. Would have been 5 star

The starbucks employees are really unkind. They have strait faces and no words of " What would you like to order".

The B&N Cafe is better than the actual Starbucks across the street. Great location.
